It's a well known italian brand, maybe less trendy than Scarpa or La Sportiva, but they do high quality stuff. I use their Selvatica (light trekking shoe) and Tengu low (low boots) and find them very good.
Just try some stores in your area stocked with reputable brands, then it's your feet to choose. Among the good brands I can list the Italians (I know them best by living in the area that is referred to in the video as the "mecca" of the mountaineering shoe): Scarpa, LaSportiva, Aku, Zamberlan, Fitwell, Garmont, and many others (practically all were born within a few tens of kilometers). Among the non-Italian ones, Meindl, Lowa, Hanwag are definitely to be considered. Unfortunately, I do not have sufficient knowledge of American brands.
