even if he was trying to get the chief to accord respect....it is still disrespect to the chief and he has to apologise for acting that way... Foget about the chief saying he was sick....According to tradition...in some cases wen a chief sits,he does not stand up no matter wat...If u don't read and know nothing about tradition don't argue with me....
Time is changing. At first, even market women and workers passing through schools without walls, stood still for the anthem sang the pupils to end before they move. But now??
See, my own analysis is that, the National Anthem requires Attention not just standing, so the Chief may be sitting down but in attention. Attention to my understanding means stopping every you are doing and focusing on what is at stake. Military personnel give attention while sitting. But the daughter was not focusing on what was happening at the moment which was the National Anthem. Standing alone is not enough to be in attention, but stopping everything you do to stand alert and undisrupted is what requires from every citizen when the national anthem is being played. Everyone defending the act is also wrong.
Anthem is an Anthem which very true because I remember back in school days no matter where you are and you hear the anthem being sung you standstill to sing till is over…

The Bible States and explains in Galatians 6:1 that, we must always be warm heart when dealing with other people's mistakes. We might not know when we'll also go wrong. And the way we want someone to deal with us when we do wrong, is how we should treat people when they go wrong.

Playing the National Anthem on this platform is needless. It is a very private programme. Its like playing the anthem at a private funeral because the President is in attendance. Nhwɛhwɛanim kɛkɛ!
