Gotta love Akuma, man. While people my complain about his existence in the game, and How He's unoriginal af in this game and what not, Akuma is such a badass. Plus, The dude is a legend. He's been around forever. So It's honestly a blessing when He's in fighting Games, LOL.
@Osama Zahid Butt They really did a good job at integrating him into the Tekken universe. I also like the fact that Akuma is sort of an anti-hero. He is not all evil, and does not harm innocents.
I do hate his existence in Tekken series . But can't Denny the fact he is badasses. I think Tekken should really give an Easter egg about his existence in earlier games It would have been much more exciting to see him finally show up.
Akuma being in Tekken 7 was enough of a reason to make me give the series a shot. I was already a big Street Fighter fan so I was able to jump into his gameplay no problem. Taking his model from Street Fighter IV as well as incorporating all of his moves from previous Street Fighter games Akuma works really well in Tekken’s style. And today I still have a lot of fun with him and it taught me a lot of how Tekken works. It’s almost like the Tekken X Street Fighter we never got. And even if we never do get that title we at least have an idea of what Tekken X Street Fighter if Capcom’s 2012 title was a success.
Akuma walked in on Heihachi’s quiet time and basically said “Nobody is fucking with me” 😂😂😂 And Akuma really fits almost perfectly in the Tekken story, obviously with a bit of retconning. But the fact that he waits until there are people strong enough to challenge him makes it make sense that he’s just now shown up. With Heihachi, Jin and Kazuya basically running amuck.
Heihachi and Akuma are built different. Kazumi, Kazuya, and Jin all have the Devil Gene yet Heihachi is able to keep up with most of them and Akuma is essentially a near-Goku with his level of training and his ki attacks. These two are prime examples of what being a badass karate master can achieve in their worlds.
Speaking of which, I gotta give Heihachi props for surviving Akuma’s Raging Demon, one of the deadliest super moves in fighting game history. In Street Fighter lore, this move specifically attacks the very soul, leaving you an empty husk. To this day only two people have survived the Raging Demon: Akuma’s brother Gouken and the big bad of Shadaloo himself M. Bison. Now given that Heihachi is one of the toughest bastards in all of Tekken I can buy Heihachi surviving the Raging Demon.
@@TheSuperSmashBros01It doesn't _actually_ attack your soul, unfortunately. But it is based on the idea of fully immersing yourself in the murderous intent. By doing so, you attack out of instinct, without allowing any thinking to slow your movements. Hence why Akuma says "Isshun Sengeki" which means "a thousand strikes in an instant". That's what makes it impossible to block unless you "empty your soul" which is to enter a zen state. This zen state allows you to block each strike with essentially Ultra Instinct.
@@TheSuperSmashBros01And to be more accurate, Gen survived by entering this Zen state. Gouken tried but wasn't successful and got knocked into a coma. Bison didn't really "survive". It's more like he simply had a piece of his soul stored somewhere for insurance. The part of him that got merked by Akuma was deader than dead, though. Gill also died to the move, but his resurrection powers allowed him to come back.
2:45 the subtitles read "I am called Akuma", but what is actually said is "My name is Gouki" Gouki is the name Akuma was born with, back when he was Gouken's brother and Goutetsu's pupil. He never actually changed his name to Akuma - it was a moniker that people gave him - "The Devil" - based on his cruelty and seeming invincibility.
No, it was a name given to him when America got the game, just like Vega, Bison and Balrog having their names switched. Also, the same "translation error" can be seen in the lines "Are you preppared? Thousand strikes in an instant!" being translated as "Prepare yourself! Die one thousand deaths!"
Akuma means ,,Devil" in Japanese. The japanese voice actor is religionwise and nationalitywise not allowed to say ,,My name is Devil" ,,I am the Devil" or therelike. Gouki is allowed. His name is akuma cause he uses the satsui no hado and is the best man of it. He absorbed all the evil energy of his dark blue gi and became a devil of this martial arts. Thats why his hair is red and not brown naturally anymore.
I would have been more surprised if he had used sama. Dono is between sama and chan on the scale, and probably why he used it since he had a dept to finish.
I don't think that will happen, since now akuma is much stronger than before, and the oni form would be too strong for such a game, it would cause a mess
I dunno about the whole permanent thing, but I do wish he'd be back in Tekken 8. They already integrated him into the story and gave him a substantial role, they might as well run with it.

One Asura from Asura wrath ...and they have fought check out there video its available... Second the baddest of all time kratos ...ca handle akuma easily as he can't be killed ... And my favorite of all time vergil from dmc series he is very fast and with his Beowulf gauntlets he is very strong hand to hand fighter also...same with dante his twin brother....these are some who can beat Akuma easily or can give him a tough competition...other then these there is none who match akuma hand to hand combat skills

Ankit Sharma it is worth to start your biggest failure is that of "God" the concept of God varies depending on the work and the gods of GOW are much weaker than those of the original mythology, Akuma with a single blow was able to destroy an island, and also a meteorite that was falling to the ground, also if we talk about his exploits in the Asura DLC with a kick he could send Ryu to another dimension (and I'm not even counting Oni) and Kratos would have a serious problem with the technique " Shun Goku Satsu "because it destroys the soul of the enemy based on their sins and murder is a very serious sin that Akuma has shown feats that show he could with Kratos

Akuma was released in Tekken 7 with his SF4 looks and gameplay before being released in SFV. Hopefully if Akuma does appear in T8, they use his SFV or 6 looks and gameplay.

that little detail was amazing and also to solidified about what we most feel and remember was when we're kid, Kazuya called his father by his name and even if he called him Father, is just like to mock Heihachi, but he never disrespect his mother by calling her by her name, he always "my mother" despite the fact that Kazumi asked Akuma to kill him, I guess it hurt him the most, and since then he totally shut his heart and change into pure evil
If you all forgettn this MAN AKMUA JUST WENT TOA TO TOA WITH ASURA! Not to mentioned when he faught ryu first and had a good fight and respect each other but all of that was just like the warm up until AKUMA FINALLY PULLS UP KICKING RYU OFF
Kazuya is an intimidating villain in his own right, with absolute no fear for anyone, but the way Akuma just approaches without a care in the world is just as, if not more scary 😅
Even though Akuma was overpowered in Tekken 7, I am hoping that he would appear in Tag 3 as a tag partner for Heihachi, but not definitely not in Tekken 8.
We never found out the outcome of that Battle, although we now Kazuya survived based on the the events of Tekken 8. But Akuma being defeated is unthinkable
Its crazy that Akuma managed to beat Heihachi, one of the strongest fighters in Tekken in base form, and fully unleaded Devil Kazuya without even using his Oni form
The only reason to follow this conflict is to finally see one of the Mishima members actually die. Too bad it will never happen as Heihachi and Kazuya are invincible against anyone who isn't Jin Kazama.

There is no man in tekken or street fighter who is equal to akuma....he is the strongest and the baddest in it...his powers have no equal....no matter how many of them fight against him he can beat them all easily....and if he get his omni form than he call take them all at once...that is how much strong akuma is... There is only few guys who can take on akuma and match his strength and fighting skills...one is kratos ...the baddest god ....and the other one is one and only asura from asura wrath .... Only these two can take on akuma in hand to hand fist to fist fight.... Oh there is two more ...my favorite vergil and Dante from dmc series
