I was there in New York city baby and it was thrilling. Keith sweat showed up with a broken leg and did his thing, Al b sure was flatlining the women with his boyish looks, they forgot that he could not sing in real life. New Edition was creating a storm of vocals that engulfed the women in tears. I wa 16 and fell in love with music. Only Usher, Bruno Mars and Luke James can come close to that phenomenal hype of music!!. Facts.
Are we gonna ignore how tight the band plays in conjunction with Al B? The artistry is solid and if they ever take this video off RU-vid, make sure y'all tell everyone to do this dance/song during annual family gatherings!!!!! Lolol. No seriously.
His facial expressions were derived from the great music and his enthusiasm to perform. In 2018 I learned that he wrote forever my lady by Jodeci. I had no idea that the man famous for 2 hits had several albums and wrote and produced songs for Faith Evans, Tevin Campbell and Mary J Blige. My fav AL B Sure song is Right Now 😍
Definitely underrated as an artist. His catalog is impressive. My favorite Al B. Sure! album is Sexy Versus. That album is a masterpiece filled with timeless ballads. “Right Now,” “Natalie,” Die For You,” U & I,” “Playing Games,” I mean I can keep going on and on. Half of the songs on that album weren’t even released and it still went platinum. Al B. was definitely that dude. Lol!
Erin Andrea Bonner there he goes landing on those knees again he did that shit on show time at the oppollo and u don't think his life hasn't been the same.hesame a very cool dude but I know those knees hurt.matter a fact he film that joint at the oppollo.
@@jojosaylor8996 Sorry, but no, I remember "In Effect Mode" Came out in 1988. You will not hear of R. KELLY until the beginning of the mid 90's. I THINK 94. R. KELLY,'s first hit was "Vibe". He is part of the Montell Jordan generation.
Thanks to my 1st Love’s Mother, In God’s Peace, I scored free tickets to the N.E. Heartbreak Tour In 88. The show in Hampton VA was BANGIN! Bobby Brown fell into the audience! 😂
Al B. ‘s Instagram tribute to Andre Harrell made me want to come watch this video in it’s entirety again. They made magic together! 🤲🏾❤️😢 #RIPAndreHarrell
What I like about Al is that he didn't have to dress all gimmicky when he performed. He just wore his normal basic clothes but still pulled off a great show with his voice and his charisma, and that unibrow HAHA.
