Melbourne is an amazing city and Australia is one of the best countries in the world, lived there myself for a couple of years, I hope to go back one day.

Australia is great if you can speak Australian .. I nave net met nicer people than in Colombia and Brazil and I don't speak Spanish or Portuguese so that is a challenge for sure..

I agree about the Canadians being the nicest people. One of the things I noticed and appreciated was that not only are they nice to tourists, but also to each other. Never been to Australia.
