Been providing PxP professionally (mostly college sports) for nearly a decade now (plus another 5+ years as a student), and I love hearing Al saying that the game is the melody and he's providing the lyrics. No better way to put it!

As a 64 yr old Cincy Reds fan I remember Al back in 1972 when we beat the Pirates on a wild pitch in the playoffs in the 9th inning to get to the World Series where the Oakland A’s beat us! He was only with us a year or two. As a 13 yr old, I had an inkling that Michaels would get to legend mode!

I never understood the backlash against Al not being into some of those Thursday night games. My Colts played the Broncos Week 5 and I wasn't even into the game.

When Pat asked if Al had another 20 years in him, I honestly think Pat fully believed he does. Even though he'd be going til 98 years old if that's the case. But oddly, I wouldn't be shocked.

Al is a legend but he and Kirk Herbstreit have zero chemistry in the booth on TNF in my opinion. Mainly Kirk he just seems out of place he’s a CFB commentator.

I do believe if every team doesn't play atleast one Thursday night game then it does Lead to a disadvantage to all teams that do play one because looking back at the stats teams suck on Thursday it wasn't that bad teams were playing on Thursday it's that no team is good on three days of practice especially if it's an away game

The problem with only one game on (TNF, SNF, MNF, Black Friday, international) is all the time spent not playing. Redzone is such a better viewing experience. Need a minimum of three games at once. Can't wait until there's 42 teams so they can pull this off. Reduce down time. Action packed.
