Al talks about his new Felipe Conde signature guitar 

For all we see in these days...here is someone I grew up with as an older teen...whos music. .inspred me then...and still does...my best friend passed away at 55 last year....he wrote Al a note back in the day...early 80s...Al wrote back. .such a nice guy....Tenafly....😀

Great sound and playing as usual! I saw you, John, and Paco at Universal Studios auditorium in L.A. around '96. I'll never forget that show!

Your new signature guitar definitely has the tonal quality and resonance for your acoustic style , the Al DiMeola style . What you choose in your voicing choral pergressions , gives you that ability to continue to play and performing your "Sky is the Limit" style . Can't wait to see you live again!

After thousand " Electric Rendezvous " We met in Minden Germany 2018 ? In front of a church.I remember also to well,that because i was to latein and your ging was already startet, the Idiots wouldnt letzte me in!!! although there was enough space there for more people. .after about 40 years waiting to see you alive, I opened the fence to enjoy this.We had a handshake at last.thank you for all this years.the best for you and all what you love.(the guitar,13500,is to cheap for me) take care and keep on.

how would you rank your own talent in relation to Paco De Lucia or Gabriel Bianco.....I realize this is an invasive question...is there any reason as to why you don't go by Al D. Meola as perhaps better.....

Di Meola is a great musician, I like he has a Beatles' anthology right behind him! I must say though that I preferred his Ovation sound, in my opinion the Ovation sound suited his style better, maybe I say so because I am a classical guitarist..who agrees? P.S. Is the guitar slightly out of tune?

Wonder if his cooking is just as good. He probably makes a great paella.... Nice guitar. It probably costs a shitload. Probably way out of my price range. On the plus side, nothing that my 100 dollar Valencia wont do.

Al, come on, put a good mic on the guitar-- jeez is it that hard- any kind of built in pickup is a compromise of sound, and we don't hear the guitar as it should be heard. Especially for $14,000.

Guitar looks big or just small men...? Like the nylon sound. Segovia told exatly what it is. You can't get that any steel string guitars. I think it is melancholy, quiet, sadness, humble and existential sound from nylon strings. Near the bridge it could sound almost steel string. Cello sound with low strings as master Segovia showed. But I have never liked guitars with no specs. When buying car I have to know every detail, same with guitars. Price and woods are not enough.
