I've been an Alabama fan since the 60s. Through thick and thin. 13.5 points? If I gambled, I'd take Bama but not with the points. The way the Tide has been playing, this might be loss number three. DeBoer inherited an incredibly talented team and they play like a division 2 loser. Pathetic. But you have to give DeBoer at least 2 years. Most of Alabama was recruited by the goat, Nick Saban, not Kalen DeBoer. Give it some time people. What did you expect? A national championship this year? If you did, you don't know football or anything about human nature.
1st off Deboer inherited the worst O Line in Bama history, last 2 seasons they combined for 98 sacks given up under Saban. Bama lost 26 players to the portal, more to the draft and graduation bringing the loss total something like 38, 42 players somewhere in there. You're right it's going to take time, this isn't the season to judge if you look at what was lost. Especially on Defense, lost the entire Secondary literally, and Moore is playing a new position. They've been playing 16 true freshmen so far, lot of those on Defense and in the Secondary too. Give it time
I'm with you 100%. I'm watching what's happening, and I'm not even mad. You hit the nail on the head with the phrase 'human nature'. I'm very willing to give a proven winner like Deboer time to do his thing. He took Washington to the NCG in his second year there. RTR!
Deboer is not a great coach. His offense is stale. His decision making is questionable. Last game he allowed Milroe to get flagged for a delay of game, and then let it happened AGAIN for 2 consecutive delay of games, which stalled a drive in the first half when he had multiple time outs left. That was inexcusable. When I think of Alabama, I think of great wide receivers and running backs. His cupboards are bare. Same with the defensive line. His team is getting ran over. They can't stop the run. It's embarrassing.
Honestly, not even Milroe. The dude needs rest and a lot of the burden off his shoulders. And possibly needs to heal up. My plan would be to work those RB's, and SPREAD OUT the pass distribution to everyone. We know Ryan Williams is great, but 20 targets is effing ridiculous. Use those TE's, RB's out of the backfield, and guys like Caleb Odom and K-Law.
I want to know when someone bring up the fact that Tennessee had multiple offsides that were not called clear as day holdings on Ryan Williams multiple times and pass interference
People have been ripping officiating across the country WITH THE EXCEPTION OF WHEN ITS ALABAMA GETTING SCREWED. Back to back trips to that ugly ass stadium that Alabama had to play officials
There were already a record number of penalties called as it was. On both sides of the ball. Those two penalties wouldn’t have changed the outcome and we all know that.
Mizzou fan here. I can assure you Bama fans of Mizzou happens to win it will be because Bama is having an off year and Mizzou will drop out of the top 25. If you win it’s only because Mizzou is a fraud and no good. Just like Vandy. We beat Vandy in a tough game and Vandy sucks and Mizzou sucks. Then Vandy beats Bama and all of a sudden they are a dangerous team. Facing Mizzou is a lose lose for Bama regardless of outcome.
13.5 favorite? lol. Some bettors aren't getting the memo i see. Bama who already had several freshmen DB's, have multiple starting DB's out with injury, including Keon Sabb. The offense is in disarray, and we're one of the most penalized teams in CFB. Good luck to anyone expecting Bama to cover.
I don't think bama is a playoff team but don't run off the coach give him a few years he's a proven winner give him time to step out from under the shadow that will probably hang there for a few years GBO
@@williamhodges3941 even if we don't win out guess what. We will be right back next season with a new #1 recruiting class and a more exspirenced team what you're team gone look like. Catch the king 18 nattys for a reason we not going anywhere but we will let someone else hold natty or 2 while we reload. You must be a comedian that was the funniest thing I heard all day
@@conqueror571 If they got their head out of their as and played complimentary football they would be undefeated…should’ve beaten Vandy and Tenn, barely lost both and played terribly in those games! I think they get out of the slump and start playing well again!
Mizzou doesn't have to be pretty. They can run and win. LET BAMA MAKE MISTAKES. That's the secret recipe that coaches aren't saying is part of their strategy. Stay close, play it close to vest and let Milroe hand you opportunities. Let the Bama O line make their mistakes with penalties. Let the Bama D get their personal fouls. Stay close and at the end Mizzou will have an opportunity to win.
If Missouri is any good at all I got Missouri by 14. This is the worst coaches I’ve seen an Alabama team in my life since I’ve understood football. I’ve really understood it since Shula was hired. DeBoer is in way over his head. Tennessee missed 3 walk in TD’s. Milroe is much worse. Bad play calling. Alabama makes no adjustments at all. They’ll do exactly what we did last week. Missouri just needs to make the plays when they’re there. I got Missouri by 17 🤷🏽♂️
And Ryan Williams was thrown off the sidelines and coaches and refs all made eye contact and made it seem like nothing ever happened holding was unreal by Tennessee's offense don't get me wrong I do believe Alabama played like crap but there were multiple first downs that could have easily been had as well as at least two touchdowns face mask was actually Tennessee not Alabama you could see it in the replay and the first false start was actually an offsides
