@@McRocket sometimes we have to be willing to teach ourselves how to live and we have to learn to say no. The first way to change is to admit a change is needed, after that it's one step at a time one day at a time.
@@nataleebailey5549 I appreciate the advice. But I have known since I was a teenager that I had to change. But every time I try/tried? I would find a reason to stop...usually a bad reason. I lack discipline. Always have. But I blame myself. No one else. It is good you found your way though. Others being unhappy does me no good. ☮
I've been a rock guy all of my life, but I always had a soft spot for Alabama. This song is incredibly catchy, but it's the truth in the lyrics that makes it powerful. It's even more relevant now. We need to slow down and take a look at who and what are really important in our lives.
They were big in the 1980s when I was growing up, that is long before your time, you might want to consider looking into 1980s music, there is lots of good stuff from this decade.
This song reminds me of my dad he was always in a hurry always always needing to get things done no rest for the wicked. Bless his soul he passed away September 2, 2017
I'm in a hurry to get things done Oh I rush and rush until life's no fun All I really gotta do is live and die But I'm in a hurry and don't know why Don't know why I have to drive so fast My car has nothing to prove It's not new But it'll do zero to sixty in five point two I'm in a hurry to get things done Oh I rush and rush until life's no fun All I really gotta do is live and die But I'm in a hurry and don't know why Can't be late, I leave in plenty of time Shakin' hands with the clock I can't stop I'm on a roll and I'm ready to rock I'm in a hurry to get things done Oh I rush and rush until life's no fun All I really gotta do is live and die But I'm in a hurry and don't…
My grandfather passed last year. This song was the perfect summary of his life and loved listening to it. Thank you, Alabama, for giving my grandfather a song to blast at every opportunity, and thus a song for the rest of us to blast at his funeral.
My father recently passed. I miss him so damn much. He loved this song beyond belief. He was my best friend. I truly miss his calls every night, every day. Oh god how I wish he was still here. He didn’t deserve to go like that.😢
When my dad died in 2009, I had this song on a CD in my car. It would come on and I would turn the volume up to the point my car was shaking and would sing/howl along with the band, then when it was over, hit the 'back' button and do it again,, sometimes 10-15 times in a row. I didn't cry a lot after my dad died, but I sure belted out, "In a Hurry" at full volume a lot.
My mom was huge into country music. I seen this video so many times on CMT. I always loved it as a kid. Had such a fun energy compared to the slow sad drinking stuff like garth brooks or travis tritt. Dont get me wrong I love both of thiers music.
I was in my room at 9 years old, grounded for the weekend for taking my dirt bike out past my curfew.... Turned on cmt and this came on. It was the day I learned that country music was going to be the music I liked. 23 years later that ain't changed.
I get random songs that will pop up in my head randomly on a daily basis (mostly 90's music or older). Im glad my memory was able to find this song. I needed it.
I remember my dad and my uncles love to listen to this song when I was younger. Last year, I was under pressure and I heard this song on the radio. I'm underpressure right now. The adulting phase is killing the hell out of me specially someone living in an Asian country. I always go back to this song to help me cut some me some slack. It works all the time.
This song is so true as we are all in a hurry now a days with work, life, kids, family. We need to stop & chill out at times if we slow down & enjoy life .🤪
I saw Alabama in the early 2000's and their opening act was "The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band". They did it as a double bill both bands did their full shows...it was AMAZING!!
Lmao I just watched the first episode then come to search about this song it’s pretty cuz I feel I don’t have energy to study I don’t know what’s made them connected but maybe cuz I have dream and I am excited to have it done or something
Chasing Bubbles is my favourite documentary. Its about a young guy who saved up his money bought a sailboat and sailed all over the world with his friends and people he met on the way. There is a scene where they are cruising the boat and drinking beers and having a great time listening to this song. Its really inspirational and just a joy to watch. Its also free on youtube. Chasing bubbles Cheers guys!
You are my number one pick for best all around country band, to sing along with, to dance to. You have never disappointed me. I cannot stay away. Call me a country junkie.❤😂❤😂
Never in a hurry. Italian born and raised always did took my time and when in NYC City that I love I always felt stressed and felt pressured to do everything fast. Music from the heart is what I LOVE the most and Alabama alys uses their hearts in their great music. Angela Italy :)
Good afternoon. I want to Express my gratitude for Your wonderful songs. In moments of life's difficulties or just a bad mood, your songs give joy and help to move through life with faith in beauty. With respect from Siberia. Sergey.
I used to make my family listen to this song over and over on our 8 hour road trips to the lake and have just now found the video. The 90s should have been illegal 😅
Even as a kid listening to the radio in the early 2000's Alabama's early stuff was still getting some playtime, that's why even though i wasn't born yet, I know most popular country music from the 80's & 90's. It seems today that country radio only wants to play the current crap now, usually anything older than 5 years old doesn't get played on my local station these days.
My whole life I've been a total rock and roller, steering towards metal but back in the day when I was frequenting Doobie Brothers, Grand Funk Railroad, and BTO concerts, I fell in love with this band and even lined up to buy tickets to see them in concert, too. Probably my favorite song of theirs.
