Back in the 80's I was the only Puerto Rican kid listening to Alabama in the hood. It's 2021 and I am still listening.

I love the line “ I swapped my loafers cowboy boots, got me some jeans and gave away all my suits” Alabama! All time greatest band!!

Love ol Alabama....watch them at Myrtle Beach before they were Alabama....as a teenager, then in the 80s as a Soldier .. now as a Disabled Army Veteran...still listening to them ...Rest in Peace Jeff ...Thankyou Alabama for the great music...

I've seen alabama 19 times. Met them several times. Huge fan.This is hands down their best song ever. You can just hear the truth ringing out in harmony in this tune. Awesome. Pure magic. Too bad music isn't "that way anymore" :(

The only country band I listened to in the 80's.

I remember 1984 like it was yesterday. I was 20 yrs old and had left home for the first and had my whole life ahead of me. I lived with my sister in Little Rock Ar and heard all of these songs on KLRA and KLPQ there in LR. I remember listening to Brother Hal every morning when I drove into work. Saw George Strait for the first time in April of that year at BJ's Honkytonk. Great memories!

I was in Andalusia Al building a structural steel manufacturing when this band first started early 80. Loved them then and still do. Fortunate to see them in concert a few times. One of the all time great bands

The last time I saw Alabama I believe it was in 85. Charlie Daniels opened up for them along with a new singer who had a couple of hits named Reba McIntyre. What a show! I sure miss the 80s.

They still have it after all these years. They are awsome. I have seen them in concert years ago.
