@@randyowen2186 Love you guys from the very start. Sorry about Jeff passing. I know he’s on Lookout Mountain watching down on you guys. Let that music Roll On…
Ms. Sally many prayers are always lifted up on behalf of all our our wonderful brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, when I was growing up in the 80's all the way till now every time you would listen to the radio, alot of times Alabama would be playing, even before you heard the words you knew who it was just by the music, I love Alabama so much ❤️, Country music would not be Country music without Alabama in it! They worked their rear ends off to pursue their dream, I thank them for their herd work and dedication, and never giving up on their dreams, Mr Teddy and you're mom did a wonderful job raising such a blessing as you! May God always bless you and your wonderful family my wonderful sister in Christ Jesus!
I love Alabama and still the most humble real loving and down to earth people. Their new Fiddle player, Megan Mullins Owen is my daughter from another mother so I e been able to sit with her and Randy several times. He is such an amazing man. I feel honored to call him my friend
I found them and heard them the first time in the northern Italian region of Italy where I was born and raised and fell in love with country music. It did not matter to me to be alone listening to it because it was relaxing and full of meaning and always touched my heart. Angela Italy
Unquestionably and without any doubt, Alabama is the hands down greatest true Country Band of all time...Real talented musicians often singing self-written songs...They defined an era of country music that has lasted to this day...The boys from Ft. Payne have come a long way without ever forgetting where they came from and THAT alone shows who they really are...Bless...
I was in Germany in November 1980. My future wife bought their first album and gave it to me to listen to, telling me that it was outstanding and wanted to know what I thought. She was right and we have been fans ever since. We were able to see them in concert while in El Paso in November 1984. They brought the house down. The best concert ever for us.
Alabama and Lynyrd Skynyrd both were pretty good to be honest with you even though Lynyrd Skynyrd was southern rock my 70-year-old daddy passed away a 1998 he loves Lynyrd Skynyrd Merle Haggard George Jones Tammy Wynette Loretta Lynn his favorite song was The Great Speckled Bird I remember back in the day he had a great big old console stereo you remember them BSR record changers it also type player he played all them old country songs plus my aunt was the same way he was
Been huge fan since they played in Myrtle Beach. Always will be. Love you guys forever. Thanks for all the great music and memories. Hope you get back to Huntington WV soon. This Jeff Gordon and Brad Paisley fan ❤❤❤❤ loves ya"ll forever.
Yeah!! Exactly what made em famous!! Humble hard working guys. Never forgot where they came from!? Their folks and grandparents kept em grounded!! Never let them forget where they came from.
My full blooded Italian grandmother loved, Al Martino, Mario Lanza, and Alabama! That shows you how badass they are, even old italian granno had to listen up them lol.
Makes you proud to be from Alabama. This group made a lot of people Alabamians. Was lucky enough to see them live in Jemison, Alabama in 1982. It was a great concert! Love those guys!
Please Randy don't stop writing songs even if you don't sing them your lyrics have always dug deep into the hearts of many I come from the holler and we know you guys did too. Just put your thoughts and feelings on paper just like before unprecedented #1 hits in a row doubt if that will ever be surpassed. God Bless all of you.

I sent handmade Christmas stocking to your children then my mum sewed they were over 3 ft long each mum sewed designs unique on them. I seen your concerts everytime you were in Tulsa Oklahoma. Became friends with one of your drivers of your music stage equipment. Frank, Sands. He had came on stage to dance when you played singing mountain music I saw you 18 times thru my time. I'm saddened in my heart tears filled my eyes the night I happened to be on my cell and seen Jeff went to Heaven. My mum went to Be with Jesus ,it's sorrow no words can say how I feel except empty in my life . She was my mum but is my 😇 I miss my mum every second . Left a hole in my 💙 time and nothing doesn't fix. I just get thru my day . I pray for your family in your loss . May Jesus hold you in his arms lift you up wiping your tears comforting you each as he does me in my loss as well of my mum . You need to educate yourself on the situation.....he was never part of Alabama Inc.....he was a paid employee for their live shows.....he’s not on ANY of their studio albums.......the only thing they did wrong was let him think he was actually a part of the core...he talked more than any of them anytime there was a mic with a reporter behind it...
How can I not love Alabama? I remember the things that was said in my home town of LaFayette Ga., which was close to Alabama's hometown. I learned they played at The Amvet's in LaFayette. You will always have a place in my heart.

notice that the drummer Mark Herndon was included in everything until it came time for money then the drummer was just hired help....they screwed him big time
They didn't come from nowhere straight to the top. They worked their butts off in Myrtle Beach at the Bowery for years before they "went straight to the top".
Funny they invited the "hired hand" drummer who didn't sing, to a vocal session, and let him participate in the star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Odd. Total disappointment what they did to Mark Herndon.
