Virtually everyone felt that 'Bama didn't have the proverbial snowball's chance against the mighty Hurricanes. 34-13 later, Alabama wore the crown. Illegal pick play ran by Clemson to win last year's National Title. Clear, cut, and obvious and 3 different officials were looking right at it and not a single flag was thrown. I'm not a Bama fan by any means, but that was a easy call and it was missed.
Everybody not in the state of Alabama, fans among the heavily pro Georgia crowd, and the fans abroad didn't want bama to win it. They hoped and prayed bama would get left out of the playoff, then when tgey got in, they clamored for Clemson to beat them again. Then it was Georgia that was carrying to hopes of everyone not listed above. The media didn't want bama to win it again. And then bama won anyway, despite the wishes of haters, jealous fan based, media, and certain analysts. They did it all after an unprecedented injury toll on the biggest strength of their defense, the linebackers. Something like 43 games missed among those guys. Yet they still did it. The I juries really started to show against Mississippi State and Auburn. Could not generate much pressure with so many key LBs out, and at Auburn, tgey were totally gased, wasn't much they could do that day, and tgey got beat. But then after roughly a month, players got healthy, and the Alabama we've all become accustomed to, returned to the field, and dominated Clemson throughout on defense. Then came the national title game. Nothing went right at all in the first half. Jalen couldn't throw, run game wasn't doing much better, and despite playing well, the defense gave up 13 in the first half, and bama looked to be at a 7 count out of 10. Then the magic happened after that first series on the second half. S touchdown to get em back in it, uga2with an immediate answer. Bama stuck with it and got back to back field goals to make it one score deficit. Defense continued playing well-- just as key as Tua played in the clutch. 4th and goal and all of a sudden tied game. Missed kick sent it to OT, and after sacking Tua following their field goal in OT, it was all but certain a UGA victory was at hand, and the crumbling of a dynasty, and death of the king. But nay. Being the champions they are, bama rose back up on the 9 count out of 10, threw a vert down the far sideline for an incredible, and unbelievable Walk off winner. Bama fans everywhere celebrated, while the rest of the college football world collectively puked. And it was beautiful, oh so very beautiful.

I am way late commenting on this, but here goes anyway. To be fair, not all ESPN commentators (I hesitate to call them analysts) were trashing BAMA. That said, I am convinced, ME, that Alabama would have stomped Wisconsin into a puddle if they had played them! I do not believe Ohio State would have fared much better either. It does not matter what kind of lyrics you put in a beat like that. It will never sound good. But i did enjoy the video. I love putting the Espn commentary in like that. But yeah, that music sounds highly generic.
The funny thing about music, it is all about taste. Like the old question of who is the best guitarist of all time, there is NO way to define best when judgement is used to decide and therefore relies on peoples OPINIONS. Not like who is fastest man, a clock makes it cut and dry. Subjective things can never be said to be best, not ever. I like the tune...... many do not, no one is right or wrong, it is subjective.

Look you fool Saban only had Hurts in the game because 9 times outta 10 he won't turn the ball over and he can run that's it. Look at all the big passes he missed all yr, he played horrible in the Auburn and Clemson game. Against Clemson Hurts didn't have to do much and he didn't, he missed on a wide open TD pass to Ridley and another after that to Foster. Our defense helped us beat Clemson and Tua not Jalen helped us win the natty. Now wake the fuck up, I know you like Hurts but he's not a QB and nobody wants his ass at the QB position that wants to win and knows football.
Saban isn't going to tolerate Tua turning the ball over either. It's a primary reason he didn't get the starts. That and he's been slow to overcome some basic Freshman management mistakes. It's not the talent in question, but the judgement, and that's why Hurts got the starts. I think if Hurts decides he can manage the way Tua does he can be a better passer, but I think he's so worried about interceptions that he rarely will take the risks that Tua takes instinctively. Hurts knows he can rely on his legs, while Tua can but it's not his natural instinct.
jklmn101 Tua throws a better ball than anyone in college football today, and he makes good decisions rarely turns the ball over. Hurts had like 10 interceptions his freshmen yr, now compare that to Tua's 2 int's.

It was completely unprofessional, but we also need to understand that they are people too, and the fact he played at OSU and wanted them in the playoffs was probably very disappointing to him. He’s still one of my favorite analysts because he’s typically the least biased of them all in my opinion.

I too am an old white guy and I agree, great video including the music. ESPN's stable of Ohio State alumni + Alabama haters are exposed yet again. Not only did Ohio State become the first team that did not win their conference title to be in the playoff last year, this year they wanted in as the first 2 loss team AND losing by a 35 point margin which would also have been a first!!!! What gall or should I say what an attitude of "entitlement". You win it on the field, not with your mouths. I turn down the sound on almost all commentators now and just watch the game.
