Hey, my name's Chris Phipson and I WAS the Genie in this. We were performing the show (Disney) in Egypt at the time and Kurt and Kristi came over to shoot this. It was so much fun! We had to shoot the show overnights (due to the heat) and I remember this was shot at about 3 in the morning. I've been looking for this for a while now on youtube so thanks SO much for posting it! I miss my Disney on Ice days and wouldn't trade those years for anything! Thanks again for posting it! ~ Chris.
@@Thompsonnw VERY! Although we did most of our shows later at night (I remember the start time was like... 9 or 10 instead of the regular 7 or so) to help avoid the heat issues.
I am Jafar, we filmed this in Cairo at night, normal rehersals were during the day. Kurt and I had to ride horses down into a wash in the sand. we were not credited at all.
Chris Phipson You visited Peru with this event? I remember going to disney on ice at age 8 when he was presented with aladino in Peru - Lima. To my genius was the most lively skater of all. I felt great emotion when reading your comment.

We actually had two weeks off before the show began and my wife (girlfriend at the time) and I spent a few days down the Amazon River while there! I'm so glad that you enjoyed the show and thank you for your kind words!
