Not nearly enough credit for this piece of art! its nearly2022 and this program is still incredible and awe inducing! He was/is a true artist and magnificent skater!!!

His artistry took skating to a whole new level. What a brilliant performer!

This is an amazing tribute from an phenomenal skater to a a phenomenal actor/dancer. Two of my favorites.

Gene Kelly's performance has over six million hits, but to me this performance is worthy of just as many. Kurt did an amazing job, and I clearly remember seeing this original performance on TV back in the 90's.....I'll never forget it!!!!

This is the best theatrical ice skating performance ever! Whoever choreographed and directed it should get a prize. Kurt Browning did a fantastic job, I feared through the routine that he would smash against a lamp-post or crash through a plate glass window.

I am 76 years old and I have to say there has never a skater that I have enjoyed more for his entire career! He is the tops as far as I am concerned!

Still an amazing performance ...seen in 2022! Sorry. None of the current skaters could ever hope to equal Kurt. It's not just about the jumps...it's what occurs in between them that makes a Skating star and legend.

Kurt was one of those rare athletes who could do anything and was also a great person to be around and be supportive to all skaters. He took chances on every number, he never skated them the same way each time he skated. We need more innovative skaters today.

What an amazing tribute to a beloved singer/actor/dancer/director and all around amazingly good guy in Hollywood !! I know that Kelly danced in roller skates, so I wouldn't be terribly surprised if he could ice skate too, but I'm sure he couldn't do the specific triples that Kurt did for competitions. This was a wonderful adaptation to the original and having seen the movie as many times as I have, I give Kurt a perfect 10 for his excellent rendition !

There's absolutely no other skater like Kurt Browning! When he finally decides to retire, that's going to be such a sad day for me. I wish there were still skaters like this today.

Amazing. The fact that he is doing this on ICE makes it eclipse Gene Kelly's original. Bravo Kurt Browning.

Even though he's a Canadian, I was always rooting for Kurt - one of my absolute favs and a master of skating - he could do it all - funny, whimsical, dramatic - the whole package. Was always sorry the Olympics was his nemesis - he's a Gold medal winner in my book!

Perfection ! Will never forget seeing this performance by Kurt for the first time. My Mother and I also watched Gene Kelly in Singing In Rain every time it was on T.V. back in the day. She knew all the steps to this dance. Thank you Kurt for this great performance. P.S. I still watch the film sometimes but it isn't the same without her now.

Perfect tribute. You can see the love in all the careful attention. Excellent adaptation from the original to the ice, even to using the exuberant gestures from Kelly's version. I'm not a fan of jumps but Kurt's were exactly right and brilliantly placed in this performance.

I loved Gene Kelly my whole life. When I first saw Kurt Browning it was clear that he was a talented dancer as well as a dynamic skater. He could move his body like no other skater and he got even better over time. This is a dynamite version on ice, choreographed by Sandra Bezic of Kurt Browning skating to Gene Kelly's famous, Singing in the Rain and has been a favorite for many years. I come back and watch it at least once or twice every year. Kurt Browning has been the my favorite skater since he first came on the skating scene in the 80's. On March 25, 1988 World Championships in Budapest, Hungary, he landed the first quadruple jump ever in competition. This accomplishment is listed in the Guinness Book of Records. Browning is also known for his footwork.

Kurt Browning was one of my faves as was this musical and Gene Kelly but I discovered this much later than I should have. I love how smooth and natural he moves, you forget he’s on ice (until he effortlessly flies into one of those great jumps!). Thanks for the upload!!

This is by far the BEST ice skating performance I've ever seen. I'm 71 years old and have watched figure skating all of my life. I've even done a bit of it and it's HARD! I remember when this was first aired. It was done in one take because the studio rain was rapidly softening and melting the ice.....This performance is perfection.

I just saw him perform this at stars on ice in Vancouver last night, and he skated this so beautifully. No one would've known that it had been 20 years since it had been originally created...Amazing

Sublime performance! Interesting to hear that Kurt has been compared to Gene Kelly. Gene Kelly appeared in a 1968 Peggy Fleming TV special. He displayed lovely smooth strokes forwards and backwards including backwards crossovers.
