I am very impressed by Alain for years, very nice guy, met him one day at Frankfurt Musik Messe, really cool pro bass player. His fluent english is also stunning for a french native speaker. I imagine Alain worked with the best musicians on earth. Thanks for video, I am using 3 piece amp from Mark Bass, Little Mark II Marco Limited + 104HF + 104HR.
Very insightful demo by Alain....very well explained!......now I'm curious to check this amp for myself....I already use the 121 P combo and the only thing I don't like on it is the tweeter (LeSon)....but the tweeter for this signature amp seems much better...now I 'm wondering which extension box would fit for it?....cheers to Alain & Markbass!!
First and foremost I would like to thank Alain for the introduction of the Mark bass and its features indeed I am very amazed by this lite wonderfully handcrafted piece of equipment. Hartke practice amp I own which I do love. the amplification and the very thin aluminum speakers with great sustain and the list goes on.I have a Hughes and Kettner on sale right now in store with 4 ten inch on top speaker and a 15 inch speaker on bottom with tweeter. two separate speaker and plus 200w head. reason for sale down sizeing and in need of money. Question: What is the value of Mark amp im really interested and trying out one...
I've never liked the piezo tweeter, It's alright for some things, but I always preferred the horn, just seems sweeter somehow. Not sure what the difference between this and my traveller 15" though, maybe there's magic in it!
I see...thanx Phil!!!...maybe that's why I also saw a video of Alan with 2x of those combo's?...;-).....well, may I ask you...I would then favor of adding one of the NY cabinets to my combo...maybe the 1x12inch or the 4x8inch?...what's your opinion on those?...regards
