They need to make a bio pic about freddie prinze , he did so much and accomplished so much by 22 .. not to mention he was the first latino to be the lead of a sitcom....
Aways had a crush on Freddie!- He was smart, good looking, and always made me laugh!-I was very young but I remember him well!-All of us(Young black girls)- would gather around my moma's tv just to see him(I would have sleepovers and my parents would let us stay up late on the weekends)!- Miss those times!-Miss Him!
i use to watch re-runs of chico and the man on sun tv when i was little i thought he was rlly cute too and hilarious i was heartbroken when i learned that he died especially how he died
So good to see Freddie again! Alan, I just saw you on The Partridge Family, and you were hilarious and cute! Recognized your opening act as your comedian! 😂
His mental health already wasn't that good when he first rose to fame, his son said he was never rlly honest about his feelings with people. He didn't know how to say no to producer's and executives to catch a break when he needed it. He had severe depression, alcohol and drug addiction he was mentally exhausted and I'm surprised no one noticed he was on the verge of a mental breakdown.
@@marysutton434 he didn't deserve any of that ik back then you were seen as weak when it came to things like that...but i just wish he had more friends that had his back cause he was crying out for help but people thought he just joking
This guy says he was best friends with Freddie yet he helped purchase the gun and then his last words to his best friend were "Go to the bathroom at least and do it neatly." With friend like that who needs enemies. I wouldn't know who this guy was if not for his connection to Freddie.
Kinda eerie hearing about Freddy talking in his sleep about murdering. This Alan kid is funny, but let's face it....Freddy was mad funny 🤣. When Alan is talking about kicking him and then Freddy says "I loved it" is why he got to be Chico. Unpredictability is the whim of wit.
Freddie Prinze Sr. Would have been the most perfect Scarface Cubano and Carlito Brigante in Carlito's Way.... He has Al Pacino beat on Puertoricaness...
Honestly, Freddie Prinze Sr. Funny or not comedian or not he could have played an authentic and true to the game Carlito Brigante and Scarface much better and truer in spirit than Al Pacino. And that is a diss. Take it to the bank. Join me in bringing back Freddie Prinze Sr 's legend and let's backlash against Pacino legend and complain complain and say Freddie Prinze would have played a better Scarface, Brigante and Corleone than Al Pacino. Freddie even has the same hairstyle as Chencho Corleone today. For reals. Chencho Corleone should play a modern Scarface and Brigante and a Brigante like late 60's fresh outta Puerto Rico Nu NuYorican that comes into real street power
Either Freddie wore Alan's shirt on the Midnight Special or Alan is wearing Freddie's shirt here. Maybe when Freddie signed that big contract he gave the shirt to Alan.
What ever happened to this young man? This is the first I’ve heard of him. Did he change his name. Here is Freddy Prince saying he’s funny and l have never heard of him except here. Did Freddy’s death take it out of him so he stopped performing?
Gotta love NYC before all these Dominicans got green cards ♠️... We were New Yorks Mexicans. They said the Jews, The Blacks and the Puerto Ricans... We was big 3 in NYC baby !!!! Just like we big 3 in 1492 ... It was Dominicans, Cubans and Puerto Ricans... Well actually the Haitians were the island namesake the Dominicans are the hybrid christian negros
That Alan dude wasn’t funny at all. Prinze omg so charismatic, funny, delicious. Prinze was a disturbed young man. He succeeded in achieving mega fame. A case of too much too soon.
+Jack R Back when we could make jokes about short people and white flight this was the shit. I don't see any difference between this and Frankie Boyle making an AIDS joke.
It's embarrassing that you have no idea what TV was like in the 70s. People didn't have the internet or the ability to record TV shows. So comedians HAD to repeat their act on every show. Every time I saw Freddie do his act on TV, I thought it could be the last time I'd ever see him. We couldn't record shows. There was no RU-vid. When VCRs became popular in the late 70s, Freddie was already deceased. Put yourself back in those days, and you'll get it.
