I know right? I couldn't stand Mia. The sheer arrogance of her to try and force Charlie to become a vegetarian like her is just toxic. What's worse is, she and Charlie have been planning their wedding for at least a few weeks before it all fell apart...and yet, at no point did Mia think to even _broach the subject_ of what Alan was going to do after they got married. She literally just assumed that the guy was going to pack-up and leave, thinking that everyone was already on the same-page. What was Alan supposed to do on such short notice?

You and Alan are equally blind to (what should be) the point of the argument. It's not the circumstances of the house, it's the fact that Mia is an assh01e for even wanting him to kick his brother out. She showed that she has no values when it comes to family. Whether or not Alan lives there is irrelevant. She has no values either way.
