There are a few times every once in a while where you can catch it, BUT the Scottish and Irish are the ones who struggle the most with the American accent so unless you knew he was Scottish going in, you wouldn’t catch those teeny tiny mistakes.
3:07 I love how this musical has a yet-to-be-written musical theatre rule: "If you have a musical with dancing zombies, you have to dance 'Thiller' moves." If you don't, the audience will be sorely pissed.
I love that Showtime bought this b/c when they went on Broadway, they went right around 9/11. Basically all musicals collapsed around that time. This is one of my fav musicals. and the guy that screams.. he is the voice of the crypt keeper!
Aww...you missed the best part. After this song Cumming says "now some of you might say I'm overreacting." That line had me laughing for a good 5 minutes.
Let's just appreciate how Alan Cumming was able to play this role so well. The fact that that he not only plays the lecturer but also functions as the story teller within the film is amazing. Plus the Opening number is epic.
Fun fact: the real public enemy #1 mention probably was put in the original movie because Al Capone was still alive in prison when they had made the movie. Capone was the original public enemy #1 because of the amount of power he had over Chicago.
Alan Cumming is just so YUMMY!!! I haven't seen him in any role that hasn't been amazing! My fave role of his will always be Lord Rochester in "Plunkett & Macleane"
cannot get this film in england anywhere. i like to smoke pot and watch the original every so often. gonna try and watch this when i get home from work on the internet.
Im a pot head through and through And i would listen to this as a jam 😂 Cuz pot isent the problem with society, like any drug its a crutch. You dont blame a crutch for a broken leg 😂😂
