Here in Spain people don't have any idea of what country is all about and it's hard to find good telecasters and amps, country CDs, etc. But thanks to the internet I can keep in touch with the country community. Keep up the good work lads. Best wishes from Barcelona, Spain.

great ken... hope you`re lucky with that tele.....this clip is fab... thanx again.... your dvds I highly recommend.... is it your fender amp or what make of an amp do you use here.. or do you record a different way?....wkr.... andy

Thanks Andy. Yep, I'm lovin' this new tele I got from USACG, it's got a great vintage kind of tone. But I'm also pushing the gain up on the mic pre I use to mic the amp, which is a 74 deluxe reverb I recently bought that's been blackfaced. So it's a combination of the three!

I finished it myself and bought all the parts. I haven't added up the total cost, but I'm guessing $800 to $1000. A heck of a lot cheaper than if I ordered one from the fender custom shop. Call Tommy at USACG if your interested in building one, tell him what kind of tone your looking for, and he'll fix you up!
