Its astonishing to me that Keating embarrassed himself like this publicly lmao. And who the fuck is the kid asking the dumbest questions ever? How Ryan kept his cool during all this is amazing
The poker realm is pretty fucking dark lol Feldman seems solid & rational IMO, I think Keating needs to slow his roll a bit. I get the business mentality but giving him equity because he brings viewers every couple months doesn't make much sense as a rational business owner.
Feldman already created a new Garrett AKA Mariano. And already getting views with hands like AA KK KK, and straight Flush against Ace High Flush. He doesn’t need Keating nor Garrett ☺️ .. But hey, if a guy on youtube faked his plane crashing and jumped out of it to get views, how can you blame Feldman 🤷🏻♂️
Basically, the way it spunds. Alan Keating had a false perception of what was going on - and got way ahead of himself with future projections of the show and how he would be perceived and the business model Feldman had. And now that hes had this awakening and realised that Feldmans business model doesnt work the same way as the usual dealing he has on a day to day basis, hes dipping. Nothing really more into it than that. The fact this is all publicised though and not kept in a private space is noy only embarrasseing but damaging to reputations. Typical of poker players to not have any foresight and do dumb things.
I've always wondered when this would come up. All these "feature players" the Alan's and the Garrett's who bring in 1000s of viewers to the stream would say "I'm the reason that this show is popular. I should get paid for my presence." Its just s fact. People tune in to see certain players not just because it HCL. They make money off streaming revenue as well as any sponsor revenue and pocket it all. I bet nobody recieves any of that money but Nick and Ryan.
This gave me a weird perspective on Keating now, you can understand the point of view as he brings in the most viewed streams and most viewed videos/clips, but he didn't build the stream from the ground up and networked the games like Ryan has the past couple of years, people who get invited to the stream come to play poker but there's just a camera, Keating's been on the streams less than 10 times out of the 100s of streams there's been on hustler amongst the year, its a joke how he feels he needs equity as acknowledgement.
@@carisenranding1703 you can’t give out equity just for the sake of fear of competition. But in this sense if he wants equity out of appreciation rather than greed, giving him 1-3% equity is a fair deal if everything that was positively brought up about keating is true.
@@carisenranding1703 sure, but Allan’s not gonna do that. Surprised to see Keating act like such a baby. ‘We’ll see if they play regardless’ ‘the million dollar game was my idea’ ‘no one gets what I’m trying to do’ Delusions of grandeur. I thought he was a lot more chill than this.
I may be off base here as I don’t personally know either party, nor have I seen everything that’s unfolded behind the scenes leading to this point, nor have I heard any of their private conversations regarding this issue. That said, I’m getting the impression that Alan was basically using his wealth and subsequent bankroll to establish a reputation of a wildly entertaining poker maniac who will give anyone all the action they could ever want as a way to make himself more valuable to poker streams because of the views he will bring. But he appeared to only be doing this as a way to gain leverage so he can muscle his way into part ownership under the threat of leaving the stream if he didn’t get his way. I have been in business a while now and it’s not normal to just hand out shares or owner shares, regardless of how much you may like the person or what they have contributed to your business. It may be more common amongst those at the top of the food chain. It’s called cronyism. Perhaps Alan miscalculated in terms of what he thought HCL was pulling in terms of revenue, or perhaps he has just been rubbing shoulders with other fat cats at the top for too long to the point where he believed some of their cronyism practices were standard operating procedure for even smaller businesses. Everyone makes assumptions about people and what type of a person they must be by how they behave on the felt in front of a camera and an audience, but you need to realize the business and real life aspect that goes far beyond once the cameras are turned off. Alan always did strike me as the privileged type who is used to the cronyism lifestyle and expects all his business ventures to go that way for him. He seems to feel entitled to a piece of HCL in exchange for his appearances and his business ideas he has pitched to Ryan. It’s a pretty good indication that was Alan’s plan all along, and now for one of the first/only times in his life, Alan isn’t getting the cronyism treatment so he throws a tantrum. Seems like someone who isn’t used to hearing the word “no”.
they would allow him to wear any patch or patches he chooses which could net him at least 1 to 2 million a year if equity is what he wants he wouldn't make 1 million in the first year
Everyone talking about "Keating is out of his mind" doesn't understand how business works. Clearly, even by Ryan's own admission, Keating has been playing a huge role in the background, and aside from the games we see him play. It seems like Ryan has been having him send in fellow players through his contacts, as well as going to Keating for many other business related advice. And it's way more than any of us know about. Ryan himself admitted that he's gone to Keating for business advice many times. So Keating has reached a point where he's like "if you're going to keep asking me to help you and bring you high limit players, turn at least give me some kind of recognition. One way or another. Either blow up my name, or give me 1 percent equity". And let's be honest, 1 percent equity given to Keating right now in exchange for his business knowledge as well as his connections would actually seem like a huge win for HCL. Ain't nothing wrong with someone asking for compensation for being called upon all the time to be the consultant. It's one hell of an investment considering the return would be way more than the 1 percent investment for a business that is barely profitable at this current time. It would probably expedite HCL's growth on not only this platform but many other branches as well. Ryan, being Jewish, didn't see the forest from the trees. He's only thing of the 1 percent cost and refuses to see the value someone like Keating brings to the table. Not just from his name, but from his connections as well as business experience Y'all need to understand, Keating is generationally wealthy to his own credit. That man is a gold mine of knowledge in business. And anyone that thinks he's out of line for asking for a percentage, just shows their own lack of knowledge in business and marketing.
Keating is a high level grifter ......... He is not some boss who got rich creating his own business . He portrays the image as a whale , but is trying to build this image to build his brand . Remember he is close friends with blizerian , he some how was able to parlay his bullshit in Vegas and spin it up but he's just some Hollywood personality type with no clue . At least he showed his true colors
The guy is literally an actor he knows nothing about how a business works , he's not bill Klein or Jr or Stanley tang etc he never created a company or ran a successful business he don't get it . Your not getting an equity stake lol cause you were good for the show , you wanted to come and dump a million dollars plus and thought it would buy you some clout maybe with the people you've tricked in Vegas . He's a more disingenuous version of jrb . Just Some idiot with personality . The show will go on without him
Keating makes the game ,most of those players don't risk what he does ,only a few players give action and he is one of em,Pearson,AirBall, Wesley,Keating, and once upon a time Garrett make these games go
Yeah agree with most Keating is way off, not all companies run like this, where they just give you a piece of company. It's a business, but you just don't get a piece and honestly stream is gonna be fine without keating but sure still welcome him back.
you realize if keating was actually smart, he would realize hustler was a great way to build a brand (which he has done) and be able to monetize his own brand on himself and realize appearing on hustler can be mutually beneficial (apart from getting in extremely soft games), instead he just wants a handout.
@@lavs8696 You understand he's worth likes hundreds of millions right? He could give a fk about making a few pennies on youtube buddy. It's just the principal to him.
@@ts9576 first of all, that's complete speculation on your part. there is zero evidence of that. second, way to completely miss my point. The point is that this is a mutually beneficial relationship to appear on hustler and build your brand. you get massive exposure, and get placed in very soft games as well. it's not a one sided relationship, people like Keating benefit massively from playing on that stream (which was already established long before him) versus other streams that have horrible production and a fraction of the viewers. Keating would still be a nobody if he tried playing on LATB or any other stream.
@@JohnSmith-su3ze u are making quite the assumption about me, there is no place he is coming from, he is just way out of line period. Pls don’t reply cheers.
@@robclark7380 Not making any assumptions about you. I don't need to, I can just read the words you wrote. The fact you don't understand where Keating is coming shows you don't understand business at a higher level It's your words buddy, not mine. Blame yourself.
@@JohnSmith-su3ze your assumptions are generic as your name John Smith, what part of of pls don’t reply do u not understand, I don’t have time for u Keating fanboy lol
From a business standpoint HCL can't give players or other investors a % of their business everytime they make suggestions. Players play to make $$$. Sounds like Keating is upset about losing money when gambling.
Hustler Casino Live is bigger than ever, and players like Francisco or Sashimi draw as many viewers as anyone else. I never want to see Adelstein or Keating there again. Good riddance!
The reason your comment has no upvotes (except your own) is because you're copying and pasting the same comment on every Alan Keating video. And people see it.
I Agree with you. He just doesn't seem like this greedy bad guy. I know he said alot here but I think he will play as a surprise and it's just a set-up. But if it's true it's crazy because alot of players are dropping from playing. Jr, double m, Eric.
