I would like to know why Ryan Feldman entered a business relationship with Nick V??? What does Nick V bring to the table (that Ryan couldn’t do without him)????
I’ve been saying that for several months. Nick is just dead weight. His hiring of Brian, with a criminal record, was the end of the road for me. Having an insider explains why Nick was able to win at HCL and loose at LATB.
Nick is a multi millionaire who collaborated with Ryan because he was banned and fucked by LATB. Nick use his FU money to create HCL with Ryan's talent to create these high stakes games to get their revenge against JJ of LATB!
The way Garrett was portrayed by Nick V and the likes of Nik, Lynne, etc was that he was some kind of monster. But he is only guilty of one thing….he is really really fucking good at poker.
And he handled that J4 situation like a 13 year old girl. Think about it - that pot was what, 140k? This guy has won and lost WAY more than that in the past. He didn't handle the situation too well. I don't care for either party, too be honest. These are the types of people you get in the poker world.
@@divided_and_conquered1854 I think it’s safe to say Adelstein has often portrayed himself as a decent guy. Backing up Feldman when that donkey player said he wasn’t all in against Feldman. Non reaction to one of the worst slow rolls in history. He has said he didn’t handle it the best. But the hand was an absolute joke.
I think everyone listening thought the same thing. Keaton can just get his own stream going and probably crush it so fast if they got a good producer like Ryan to run that show
@@Wooooosaaaaaa speak for yourself. I think most of us was thinking Keating should stay far away as possible from Garrett and his white privileged Ken attitude. Garrett is so fake it’s ridiculous.
@@Wooooosaaaaaadidn’t you hear that Keating wanting to start his own stream is to APPEASE Feldman and compete against him so there’s no way Ryan would partner with him for it
Sometimes it gets hard to listen to him. When every second word is “like”. He’s a smart guy, but he really should work on using the word “like” a LOT less.
Not often do you see two people air their grievances without yelling each other, empathize with each others feelings, and move forward. A lot of respect to Ryan and Garrett! Two emotionally mature men which this community is severely lacking
Under appreciated lol. “We appreciate you infusing the game w big whale loose money”. Garrett is a pro’s pro, he’s there to win money. This is his biz, provides for his family. He’s not there to appease the rec players, increase VPIP, socialize,…
Nick & Ryan constantly use the defense of ‘It’s only business’. The problem is, when you shit on loyalty, in the long run, you get fucked. Loyalty has way more staying power in business in the long run than just always doing wha t makes you more money in the short run. People watched HCL because guys like Garrett, Gal, Dylan, played really interesting poker, and guys like Ben and Nik were nobodies. It is amazing how shitty the poker is compared to how complex the games were at that time. Now every Friday, we are stuck with Pepe, Wes, Nik, and Dentist Dave. It is sad
i really agree with your statement im definitely not as interested as when it first started and honestly i think im gonna stop watching i cant stomache listening to airball or brown balla laughing and nik vertucci seems like so full of himself
I just want to say I'm super thankful for your comment and I really hope I'll be able to enjoy more of them in the future, because I really appreciate our interactions here. Also ... like
For that to happen, he will be forced to play with pros he doesn't want to play with. He got so exposed and now blocked to a rich man soft game that is now more popular without him 😂
Keating and Garrett made the games shine. Period. Feldman and Vertucci got paid. It's so weird that all these savvy businessmen couldn't have a conference call and hash this out privately. This is surreal man.
These are not private conversations. They were never intended to be private. They literally invited spectators who have their own poker channels and brand. 100% chance the knew this would be posted. Same with Doug's convo (he posted 1 himself and Charlie posted the other)
@@tylerkay825 I'm well aware of the platform. My point is you would think maybe these guys would choose to hash this stuff out in a PRIVATE setting. Thats my opinion and I'm sticking with it
Vertucci owes Keating an apology. They need to make him the Star ⭐️ of every show. The man gives action like a maniac and helped build their brand tenfold
@@khrizpabloking1244 Keating purposely did that for exposure. I don’t know why Nick and Ryan treat him like he’s a clown 🤡 It’s a shame. He loses on purpose to create great content for the show.
@@MysteriousMM no he does it to try and create an image for himself. Keating isnt doing this for the producers of the show. People go on these shows to try create fame for themselves. exactly what keating did.
I didn’t realize Nick and Garrett had such a falling out over this. Nick should offer Garrett some free real estate courses to try to mend fences. Nick seems more problematic with each passing week. 1312
I have always enjoyed the speakers that talked, but after listening to this, I must admit, some respect has been lost. Lots of wining an egos. Life goes on. Pura Vida from Costa Rica!
I kind of think Ryan should give some respect out to Garret and Keating - as business associates. Particularly for Keating.... he contributed mega action & losses - in big high-stake games, he deserved that. moving on and dusting hands seems pretty lame - without some bad blood. Give the guys a personal explanation so that this twitter space didn't have to happen. Lex your a down to earth professional, would like to hear your thoughts on these poker topics.
Garrett is hurt. Keating is under appreciated. Feldman is untrustworthy. Nittucci is crazy( not allowed on 😂). Doug is misunderstood. Charlie is understanding.
Zero respect for Garrett until he returns the money to Robbi. Nobody has evidence that she was cheating and in a casino, on camera, it would be virtually impossible. I know he gave the money to charity but it wasn't his to give. He owes Robbi money. She did though, under pressure and ignorantly, gave him the money. All that being said, Garrett should not be banned from poker because he didn't violate any casino rule.
So he can’t give the money to charity because it’s not his to give but she can give the money to him but he has to return it because it’s not hers to give? Or it’s not his to give? Or not his to accept? What?
Do you really think the hustler waiting to do the investigation and even if they found something out do you think they would ruin their own show? Something def fishy about all that, and what about the hustler worker taking money off robbis stack?
@@johnnywang206 Legally, nothing can be forced as it is with the money. Ethically, he, the lead person on the show, threw a fit on a new person to the stream and she, admittedly, gave him the money under pressure and because of this, he should give it back to her. IMO Johnny.
@@milesdudley8243 The show is a minute part of that casino's income and no casino I know would jeopardize their establishment to cover up anything. In our state the gaming commission would have heard about this and looked into it already. They are extremely strict with anything that could be cheating. In a court of law, this would be thrown out immediately due to a complete lack of evidence. People that know poker can't believe anyone would make that idiotic call and so they cry, cheating for a lack of better explanation as to why she would do it. She said that Garrett had bluffed her and run over her a number of times and she made a stand. I've watched people do the same thing, usually to their detriment. She got very lucky being stupid.
@@l_pete_l6501 idk if it makes sense at all, making a stand w jack high? Have you seen her in other games lately??? She made a call for hundreds of thousands w jack high but I saw here all in with ak pre in another stream and she looked as if she was about to have a stroke, so why so confident w jack high for so much more money? It’s not right. You have to look into the whole deal with the worker for hustler as well, many fishy things involving him
I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that, Garrett was the main reason a lot of people tuned in because he is an absolute boss! all the other players excluding Andy Stacks, Keating, Bill Klein and maybe Wesley really enjoyed to play with Garrett. The rest of them were happy to push the agenda to not have him play there anymore simply because he is just too good for any stakes with these players
@@trdi Because they did you clown, Garrett has a perfect record in the poker community for 10+ years. Then little cucks and people who have no clue about poker take the side of scumbags. Story checks out, go simp harder for the scammers.
@@trdi It could be that indeed but then we're back to the old statement of ''Why on earth would Robbie give him back the money if she won it fair and square'' I know for an absolute FACT that if I had played that hand and I didn't cheat, I'd never give anyone their money back
The number of "likes" is ridiculous. Garrett needs to try and make a conscious effort not to throw that word in conversation. High level recap: Garrett pimped himself by stepping away after the J4 hand. That opened the door for Nick to ban him from the game because he was too good and players didn't want to play with him. HCL is thriving and popular as ever. The end.
Wow! You read my mind. Garrett is annoying with all his “likes”. He’s also a cut throat narcissist that would beat your grandma out of her last social security check. His nice guy image is LA phony. It’s too funny that his own ego ended up being his demise and is costing him millions in lost opportunities.
@@eddiehengzbach He's just emotionally an awkward dude, wants to be liked by all probably. He is immature in that aspect, You can be immature and smart at the same time.. But yeah, he needs to talk like a man, but he does face issues , Ill give him that
@@jacksondickery509 They are as popular as ever. The viewership numbers don't lie. Just because you don't watch anymore doesn't make it not true. The world doesn't revolve around you Dickery.
At this point who cares? She's moved on playing poker, Garret should be able to also. The underlying thing that isn't being talked about is Garret is a massive winner on HCL. The problem boils down to him being extremely fun and entertaining to watch, he brings viewership but the players dont want to play with him. Why would you want to play in a game when you now you're likely down? Its got nothing to do with how he handled the situation. The players know he's a real G. EDIT: Ok it is being talked about. Also Garret helped build HCL, like it or not. They have kind of used him..
Thing w Garrett, built a huge following on just his gameplay, shows up and crushes. Doesn’t have a “persona” like Hellmuth, DNegs,…, and he’s never made a name for himself ie big tourney winnings to get a seat at big stakes game. See your argument where many rec players don’t wanna play a game where they feel outmatched. But argument that rec players are the lifeblood of livestreams is overhyped. There are many streams out there now (Lodge, TCH,…) w plenty of rec players and no one cares. I would argue > rec players want to play w Garrett vs don’t, even knowing they’re outmatched. Same as wanting to sit at table w Ivey, DNegs, Hellmuth,… Everyone who plays poker want take their shot, vs the best (Rounders vs Russian).
I don't know if a lot of people do this but for RU-vidrs that make content that I enjoy I always let the commercials run to the end as my version giving them a tip for their entertainment value they provide me. Does anyone else do this?
If I'm Doug Polk I'm figuring out how to get Garret, Andy, and Keating into a million dollar livestream game at the Lodge. There's got to be some rich Texans that think they can beat Garrett. Watching airball and those other clowns got old real fast. Garrett and Andy are on a whole different level and it was fun to see them work. The nonsense on HCL now is probably entertaining to some but not the hardcore poker fans that want to watch high level cash play.
@@troywilson5686 it is and there are many interesting tourneys but deep stack cash is a bit different and when played correctly becomes very interesting to anyone who actually plays poker.
The way you look up to Garrett is how I view you man. You’re a huge inspiration to many of us and I hope to some day play in the same size games you do. For now I’m dealing cards to rebuild my bankroll after a divorce but hopefully will be playing poker as my main hustle again in the future
Ya know, like I'll just wait for the CliffsNotes version of this conversation. There is ZERO chance I can sit through 50 minutes of "Ya know... Like....".
Thank you for putting this up. I would never have heard the entire conversation other wise. I appreciate this very much. I say keep doing it once in a while.
@lex - you have such an amazing head on your shoulders. never let yourself become like these egoistical maniacs. the drama in the poker world is bigger than NJ housewives. you do you and focus on playing great poker to make a living.
Garrett says Ben manipulated Nick into saying Garrett was banned. That's total bullshit. Nick, I'm sure, stands behind his words. I believe that Ryan would probably prefer to be more private. Garrett wants his narrative at the forefront, which is understandable, but in my opinion, Garrett was in the wrong after the J-4 hand. I believe he still needs to pay Robbi back.
How tf she cheated? They ran the board twice and at that point no one knew what’s the next card that come out and yet she won both run out . Just give her money back and end of story, move on
@@curtisking6271 no they can’t. But what they can see is hole cards. And she was relayed info that she was “ahead” because the person giving out info is a moron and so is robbi. She called when she probably shouldn’t have but neither her nor her accomplices are smart enough to figure out how sus it would look on camera.
When Garrett plays on live streams he is good for the game. Who would have thought this mess would have more drama than a couple of high school cheerleaders.
When Garrett plays, the poker is way more interesting. Not often do you see a guy doing a 6 figure flip calling with pocket 5s against AK. You just never see those kind of guts seeing amazing calls. It’s just punts and coolers. And people screaming like it too, alot of skill to cooler another player. I used to watch every single stream. I can’t stomach watching 30 min of it now, i just wait until the end of the stream now and scroll to the end results.
Seems like a lot jealousy and butt-hurtness over not being "recognized" or " thanked" or "loyalty" for what was clearly business relationships that all parties consented to engage in. None of these dudes got into it with pure altruism in mind. Alan and Garrett sound real butt hurt for not benefitting as much as they wanted from HCL. But unless there some agreement made with Ryan that wasnt honored then they need to pull their panties up and quit the bitching.
I feel as if Keating is trolling Garret, because Garret is complaining a lot and acting over entiteled. I can not believe peopke are taking Keating seriously, Keating is trolling 100% and its brilliant.
It doesnt matter if hes trolling or being serious. Hes rude as fuck and being blatantly disrespectful and immature. Hes acting like a monkey. So he probably is trolling, which is worse than if he was serious.
Lex, please don’t subscribe to the BS notion that Garrett (or anyone) speaks ‘his’ truth. There isn’t ‘my’ truth or your truth. There’s truth, and there’s opinion.
I wonder what the viewership numbers went to after the J4 hand on HCL That news went mainstream internationally for sure! Best stream production regardless and was going to grow extensively no doubt. Just wondering
Now I see why keating isn’t on hustler like that anymore , I personally think Ryan could have answered those questions better, and I think Garrett should go back to the bike or go to the lodge, let hustler sweat and lose some views alittle, I love hustler and I’ll watch any stream on any day but there’s definitely some unfairness and shade going on there
