Wow what an incredible skill you have, they are all beautiful but the Pintail is outstanding to me. I have no interest in duck hunting but I love to see and photograph all birds. . Best wishes to you from the UK.

Don -- Have you ever heard of Hans Bolte? I'm certain he has passed-on, but he was our "Top-Gun" decoy carver in our neck-of-the-woods. 🦆

I would lie to point out some of the best carvers came from the Peoria,Illinois river area , which is part of the central flyway

I'm not sure financially, not selling his work is the wisest decision. Especially since he has obviously reached the award winning level of workmanship.

What species of wood, is he using to carve his ducks? I heard that 'Tupelo Gum' , is the wood of choice?

@@BayouWildTV No, I was referring to ducks. I like ducks and never killed or ate one. I understand having to cut down trees though, as I also use products made from trees. Anyway, good video here and respect for the beautiful work by Alan.
