Watches this, walks to hobby room, places all RC gear in the trash. I know when I'm beat. But honestly, I can't even tell what the heli's doing (double entendre intended) for most of that, let alone try to relate it to the stick movements 0_0
Nice as always. Especially when you can see the stick movements. I wonder why it seems he gives small but very fast rudder-movements? Is there a right and a wrong way to hold the sticks or is it what people like? I use my thumbs on the top of the sticks, and yet I see many fly like this. Is the control better here than with thumbs only? Thank you for the upload.
Tom Hawthorn lol not even close my friend. The skill it takes to do this is unbelievable. And for anyone else who doesn’t know, these helicopters are designed to to exactly this. This is not “Scale” flying. It’s called 3D and is very difficult. If you want to see Scale flying then the search bar is right up top :)
you don't say? but btw, i fly mod 2,too and i alway use just left rudder like him. I think its more comfert than rudder to the right ;) but i can use it in booth directions and i belive alan can do it, to ;)
He flies it with such accelleration that earths gravity is irrelevant to the stick inputs he makes. I'm currently on a level where I have started to try out side-in and nose-in hovers with my 120 SR... I have a bit left until "Szabo-level"...
I know what he is going is hard but after watching a minute of that nonsense I had to turn it off. Forward flight with tricks is cool but it gets to a point where it's just gets ridiculous... The thing doesn't even look like a helicopter. Looks like a blade with counter weight to stabilize the blades. It's like flying around spinning blades.
