I remember really enjoying this series when it was first on, and am really pleased you've uploaded some here. Especially, I remember an episode where Alan was floating in a canoe next to the steps of the York watergate in London, before the camera zoomed out to show that there's no river anywhere near these days, because the embankment moved the banks of the Thames. I'm now fascinated to re watch that episode but have no idea a) if I invented it, or b) which episode it was on!
I find Alan's videos so much more informative and easier on the ears than most. I hate to be talked 'at' and not 'to'. I also dislike presenters who wave their arms about like some demented monkey.
Ireland is not a British Isle/Island. This is an outdated Imperialistic and Possesive term that is not recognised by the Irish Government Nor by the Majority of Irish people living in Ireland.
