Thanks for the Alan Wake videos, Jack and Geoff. I've now collected everything in episode 1 and 2 (except the Nightmare difficulty pages). Now it's only episode 3, 4, 5 and 6 left.
Thanks, dudes. With this game coming to backwards compatibility I felt it was time to mop up the rest of the collectibles, and was happy to see an old RT/AH guide.
Yeah; Alex Casey basically is Max Payne, and they used his voice actor for those two pages. It's cool how they wove so many things together with this game.
@YourGameroom No, it's because they are in nightmare mode, and if if you've never played it, I recommend getting everything else, thermoses, etc., then just getting the nightmare pages on the nightmare playthrough, which will give you "Alan, Wake up", and "hardboiled writer" achievements. Nightmare mode is not to be...taken...lightly. hehe. more enemies, and they're tougher

The first two for this chapter? I am playing this through now and thought it sounded kinda Max Payne like. Makes sense since Sam Lake did the writing for this and the original 2 Max Payne games (though sadly not the new one). It's definitely his style.
@0adireita well, its a game with an engaging story. the game uses an episode mechanic (6 episodes +2 hours each). everytime you pass to another episode, it shows a replay of what happened on the previous episode, showing big letters saying "PREVIOUSLY ON ALAN WAKE". the story has drama, mistery and the most important thing of all...this game is a psychological thriller. I strongly recomend this game :)
I don't have the game and don't plan on getting it. (Though it looks good) The only reason I'm here is to listen to the hilarious commentary. Anyone else?
They forgot to point out a manuscript in the trunk of a car after the last thermos when you're heading up to Barry...other than that, this has been really helpful!
For us Brits, it goes: ground floor, then first floor, second and so on Because we like being difficult almost as much as the Americans And for the record it's spelled "colour", just a note (Y)
For videos with a lot of explaining like this there needs to be 1 person really. Jack is messing Geoff up and not letting him talk sometimes when he needs to.
Jack: "Hit that guy..... OH GOD U ACTUALLY HIT HIM!" Geoff: "Yeah i hit the shit out of that guy!" Me: *gets up off floor after rolling on it from laughing so hard* "i luv u guys!
And it should say defeat or destroy the bulldozer not just survive the bulldozer, I thought the game glitched when I beat it and did not get the achivement. Games and their creators are getting either lazy or just plane tricky about how they define these achivements. Bastards!
when he said "Jason" he could of been referencing 28 days/weeks later (dont remember which one) when hes running towards a boat away from a crap load of zombies
@dxtmnt I realize, but I mean how do they do it THAT fast. This game hasn't even been out for that long and they already know where everything is. It took me weeks to find all the collectibles in GOW2 and even longer to find all the pigeons in GTA4, I practically went mad finding them all. Anyway you see my point.
There's a hole in the bottom of the tree! There's a hole in the bottom of the tree! There's a hole, there's a hole, There's a hole in the bottom of the tree!
Omg, this game is hectic. I found myself running out of ammo (Nightmare difficulty) while fighting two taken. I had to run through the woods, over two bridges into a house where i set up defense with the remaining bullets i found, killed one, the other one goes out with a dramatic pistol headshot. Holy Shit.
