Jamaica needs to seriously start thinking about changing the dates and possibly month that Boys & Girls Championship is currently hosted. I believe it's beginning to have negative effects on our athletes regarding participating in future events beyond the month of March.
I think the problem is after champs in Msrch, carifta March/April, Penns after that then by the time you touch May its CXCs exam time, so if not March where else would it go,
The excuses you are giving for Terrelonge are not reasonable. She is not the first Edwin Allen student to run at the world u20, the coach has enough experience to know how to prepare her. If she was ill ,out of form or under prepared, they have persons who could have replaced her.
u are not reasonable. Anything can go wrong. She didn't look fiery and fit. she had a long season. The junior seasons started last year. You think its easy to be running all year. Alot of senior athletes already ended their season
@@nicolette6186. I for one think that they should not have participated in this championship. Now is the time that they should be getting ready for training but it was known for a while now how late this championship would have been due to the season those countries to the south experience contrary to ours but that doesn't change the fact if she isn't performing at her best or she knows she isn't feeling good that it's simple just to give that place up so someone else can get the opportunity for experience.
@Ezigoing she is way faster than the other athletes, so using another athlete and the outcome is worse. Which that athlete did not even pass the 1st round u ppl would have complained and seh why we didn't use her. Just like how shellyann and shericka didn't run and tia and the others didn't give us a medal. People cuss and say they are worthless. So we can just move on and hope for other medals to come. Let's see if she turns up for the relays
I agree with alvinsher. Terrelonge was very lackadaisical and ran that race with no urgency. I know it was cold but even in the lineup she looked almost over confident. That said....THIS has been a long season for them so I'm not expecting too much from our athletes. South Africa could win Gold in both men and women. (I've noticed a few instances during the season where Terrelonge appears to be somewhat of a brat. Hope she grows out of it)
@@courtneymontaque2291why should she have been on top of her game when she’s had a long season? These kids been running since January. Pack it up, Yall do too much!
I'm American, I'm rooting for Alana Reed. I was told from America, that coach Dennis Mitchell and ShaCarri call her on the phone and told Alana to smoke 💨 everybody. We Americans train you(Alana) and Brianna Lyston to beat your own Jamaicans.
"Some will call and wish me well. However, in their hearts, they don't mean it" ~Tupac Shakur Furthermore, when they return to camp, you wanna bet Sha'carri goin fight off Alana(same way she did Gabby)? As truth be told, Sha'carri don't really like Jamaicans!!
@@woodism203 Whether or not they like her, if they did indeed call her and wish her well that is nice enough. Track and Field is an individual competition. You compete even against your own team mates and countrymen. That's how it is.
@@woodism203 That was dumb what you just said. ShaCarri took time out of her life a had a relationship with a terrible Jamacia woman that hit ShaCarri. So I don't blame ShaCarri. ShaCarri’s former Jamaican girlfriend was classless, dirty and a coward. The Americans used their Jamaican relationship to get a edge on the Jamaica routine and it worked. ShaCarri is the fastest in the world two years straight and Noah Lyles is the fastest in the world two years straight. Don't give me that well Alfred won the Olympics Gold. My answer to you is that ShaCarri has run the fastest time of the year with a 10.70. Alfred only ran 10.73 this year.
I have no confidence in the 100 meter if they are so good why not do the 200 meter most American sprinter can easly do the 100 meter 200meter and 400 meter doings 100 alone come with a lot of injury and failure
