Completely destroyed and traumatized Alana, she's so young. And please stop judging her, i remember being so traumatized as a child/teen and i didn't do drugs or drink or sneak out, i ate food and gained weight. I'm sure it's the same with Alana, on top of not really living in an environment in which healthy eating and lifestyle is promoted.

Alana is obviously traumatized. Geno seems like a reminder to Alana that her mother became a crack addict and abandoned her when she got involved with Geno. I hope she will give Geno a second chance. June and Geno seem like they are taking their recovery from substance use seriously.

It's sad too see Alana so traumatized and naive about the situation. I think she is so happy too see her mom that she forgot about Geno being there for a minute. Like yah he answered the door its his house. Did you expect him too bot be at his house. June has an addiction to drugs and is in a codependent relationship. If June is fine where she is with Geno then he isn't going anywhere no matter how bad or good the situation is. So too expect your mom and not Geno is too high of an expectation.
