Released in 1995, Alanis Morissette’s breakthrough album Jagged Little Pill introduced the world to the Canadian singer/songwriter’s unique honesty and courage. The GRAMMY-winning album went on to sell over 16 million copies in the United States and reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. On the album’s 20th anniversary, Morissette opens up about embracing the “angry” label, the artists she was listening to when she wrote Jagged Little Pill, and the advice she would give her 19-year-old self.
The 20th Anniversary Edition of Jagged Little Pill is in stores today, October 30, 2015.
