Anyone who's saying that she's on drugs really2 doesn't know her at all.. This is the ways she sings all the time, this is true emotions and feelings..
Besides me growing up in a prodigious decade (1970's). I very much appreciate your excellent message! Completely agree!... North America experienced a magical and very competitive generation of talented women during the late 90's; which made me regain the taste for good musical creation, well recognized in previous decades. Jewel, Alanis, Sarah McLachlan, Sheryl Crow, Tracy Chapman, Paula Cole, Suzanne Vega, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Fiona Apple, Joan Osborne, The Cardigans, Emmylou Harris, Lisa Loeb, Indigo Girls, Shawn Colvin, Meredith Brooks, Tracy Bonham, India Arie, Natalie Merchant, among others, were part of that great Lilith Fair's line-up; a concert tour and traveling music festival, founded by the very talented Sarah McLachlan.
She is so amazing .... seeing her here brings me back to my teen years when my life was simpler and seemed like the world was less complicated than it is now
I had a huge crush on her and had her poster on my student flat wall in the 90's. Those days, she is amazing and otherwordly...makes life larger like true artists.
She looks happy, and that's all that matters. She delivered the song flawlessly and showed she's not afraid to be herself. Probably a better high than any drug to have that kinda catharsis, and she gets paid to get high. Thank U Alanis!
Underappreciated? She was literally one of the biggest artists of the 90s. Jagged Little Pill is to this day in the top 20 most sold albums of all time. She still sells out arenas. Her music is timeless and will be remembered forever. Alanis is not underappreciated.
How she subtly signals the sound engineer several times to increase her mic volume in her in-ear Monitors without being distracted for a millisecond. For me one of the most grooving but moving beats of rock history and iconic for the 90s.
wow, I used to get all my older sisters albums when I was younger and one of them was jagget little pill, and Ive been a huge Alanis fan ever since then, and everytime I listend to one of her songs I think about my sister wich I dont see as much anymore :( I love my sister so much AND I LOVE ALANIS
she feels the music she sings it pours out of her i think she is totally awsome she isn't on drugs high on life maybe thank you for the great music alanis i smile evrytime i hear your voice......
ok i just had a bunch of childhood memories sparked back to life. i heard this song like all the time with my mom in the car. thank you Alanis for making basically most of my kid years with your music and thank you mom for playing Jagged Little Pill all the time.
i have chills and goosebumps all over... this song changed my life and broke burriers to reach my heart. Its beautiful down here on the bottom beacuase somehow and in someway I feel closer to heaven. If you are, like me, going through something hard in your life right now, i suggest.. that you revel in your pain! dont whip away the tears just let them run down your face and dry wherever they land.
Alanis simply makes me proud to be Canadian. Not only is she an amazing singer/songwriter, but she has absolutely no fear of being the person she truly is, setting her aside from many celebrities out there.
Yes! He has the same moves - very close. Alanis just gets into her music so much that I bet she doesn't even realize she is doin it until she sees later. I love her!
She was NOT high, she was NOT on any drugs or stimulants at all. This concert happened right after Sept 11, 2001, and in the air there was a lot of fear, uncertainty, hate, divisions, emotions. Love, understanding, unity and compassion was missing. Alanis was over-come with emotions during this performance and she wanted to reach out to everyone. The only people showing and telling the truth at a time like this was Artists like Alanis, we needed Reason, Love, Understanding, Unity & Compassion.
Um ser vivo desse nao e sempre que aparece aqui nesta dimensão, nossa ela estava aqui no seu auge de sua carreira e como é gratificante poder recordar essa época e poder reve la novamente Alanis
Tried to hold my tears but...bro that solo bridge at the end with the bass guitar weeping, killing me so softly, just tore my heart into pieces of confetti and just threw it all over this room. Redefining my joy And giving me a glimpse of what makes a heart so mysterious.. wild and untamed.. true love is recklessness that knows no bounds other than patience and peace ✌🏿
alanis em toda a sua juventude e alegria de viver, em cima da onde passara por toda sua vida , o palco , e viva alanis morrissete pra mim a maior cantora pop de todos os tempos.....lindissima...
