@Applepipe quickstep has always been a classics team they have enough talent to help Julian out. Be silly to put all your eggs into one basket, one GT a year and write the rest of the year off. I am not sure if Remco could be competitive in two GTs in a year yet? Plus if Remco does the giro or vuelta having Julian in the tour is great for money and huge exposure for the team as he is the French Darling....well next to Pinot anyway.
I love him and he is the reason why I started to watch cycling but he has to deliver. Otherwise he eats to much Budget. Same for Fabio/Tim. If they win races its fine if not they should let them go and build a GC Team for Remco.
