@@deslauriersadventures mine was unlock and relock the rear hatch... but it seams to me that the door lock actuator is the real problem. the door lock actuator isn't working correct and doesn't recognize that you unlocked the door, so it sets off the alarm.
it seams to me that the door lock actuator is the real problem. the door lock actuator isn't working correct and doesn't recognize that you unlocked the door, so it sets off the alarm. I notice that when i turn my driver side door key that the interior lights do not always come on right away, and then the alarm goes off when i open the door because it thinks you did not unlock it yet and just opened the door
This happen to me the other day in my 2000 WJ Grand Cherokee. Unlocked the door with key because fob battery died. Alarm goes off, I just decided to put my key in the ignition and start the truck. That turned the alarm off and I was on my way. It might have something to do with the sentry anti-theft key detecting in the ignition and turning the alarm off. I don't know if ZJ had those keys.
I wish it was that simple with mine. I tried everything before learning that grounding the alarm system was the only way to "reset" it. It was a little frustrating lol
All I did was remove the alarm module from behind the passenger dash clove compartment while the engine running and that permanently disable the alarm.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-10LxoNUa2oQ.html
With this process, did he deactivate the need to activate the control to release the car's operation, in this case its immobilizer?Did an error occur on the panel?
Mine's the biggest piece of shit vehicle I've ever owned. Soon as you pick something, something else goes wrong. You're lucky if it lasted a week or two before something else pop up. Fucking garbage
