This video was captured on sim update 10. However, I'm still using DX11 as well as TAA and not DLSS. The performance improvement for me is minimal with DLSS 'quality' and the graphics quality hit is more than I'd like for now. :)
MajorTom, I’m a big fan of yours channels. I’ve been using P3D for the past 3 and half years and my graphics ain’t nothing compared to yours. Even though I run a new graphic card which is a GTX 3050 with a 4K monitor and running a AMD processor. I just bought MFS premium Deluxe package couple of weeks ago and would like to know if there is any chance you could share some of your system configuration when you get a chance just to see what I’m missing. Again, amazing video sir 🙏🏾
Back in 2014 my family did a massive vacation to Hawaii. 39 of us total. Every aunt, uncle, cousin, and even some friends went for 2 weeks. We didn't travel as a single herd, it was get there the best way you can. My wife and kids took this flight. A Delta flight from Indy to San Diego, then the Alaska Airlines 737-800 from San Diego to Maui. We shipped all our luggage a week ahead of time so we didn't have to mess with it. Just carry on only. If you're going to go for that long so far with that many people, shipping luggage ahead of time is the ONLY way to live. We go to the hotel and all our luggage was in our rooms. Perfecto.
The walk around inspections are always my favourite part, just getting to see all the details of this beautiful aircraft is amazing. Great video as always! 👏
It’s incredibly accurate. I’m a ramper at sea tac for Alaska airlines and the attention to detail even down to the Food Service Truck from LSG sky chefs is amazing.
Always a pleasure when MajorTom uploads. Hey, also my friend, just wanted to give you a heads up in case no one else had mentioned it. I was looking for timestamps in the description and noticed you're having a similar problem as me. For some reason, RU-vid is currently reading a dash (-) in descriptions as you wanting everything past that crossed out with a line through it. Interestingly enough, some of your dashes are doing it and some aren't. Either way, half of your description is crossed out. I've found, at least on my channel, it isn't affecting past uploads, just new ones. I've had to go through and edit my templates to remove all the dashes, as even chatting with RU-vid creator support, they don't seem to know why it's doing that. FYI. Anyway, that aside, great upload as always!
I just recently found MajorTom, easily my new favorite MSFS full flight videos on youtube, so many little things he adds in like terminal scenes, inspections, walking the jetbridge to the plane, absolutely love it
Love watching your videos! I’m 737 typed with about 500 hours and just got my 747 type rating, IOE coming soon, so all of those videos I love watching heavily! Your procedures look very well done and well researched. I just got my flight sim set up and I’m amazed how you get all of the views inside and out. Please keep up the amazing work!
You did it again Tom! This time to my favorite place on Earth! My wife and I have flown in to OGG twice with a third trip planned. The scenery is deadly accurate with Haleakala on the left, Molokini crater in the distance, the windmills of West Maui, and the sugar mill just before minimums. I even spotted the Lahaina Pali trail! Keep making these man.
I started playing this game with FS98. It's amazing to see your creativity and the atmosphere you can create with this level of realism. Thank you for all you do for the community that we are. Thanks for your vidéos.
Just landed here from Vancouver to Maui IRL in 737 MAX Air Canada. Lovely flight. We landed at about 10 pm local time. Pilot hit the brakes super hard. I think he was new haha. But what a lovely place maui is.
Man, what an AMAZING video! Amazing doesn't even fully describe how great this is. The graphics, the sound, the reflections, the realism of systems and navigation, the terminal views, all of it. Absolutely fantastic! Bravo! Total immersion is what I experienced. Headphones, full screen mode, and lights out. Now to close the window and get back to reality. I was really enjoying that Hawaiian bliss :)
I just want to begin this comment by saying how much I love your videos, @MajorTom. They have provided me with great inspiration, as a fellow aviation enthusiast and lover of MFS. I am also curious as to what aircraft or addons you might suggest that I get for my Xbox MFS for maximised enjoyment. Thanks so much for posting and inviting me.
My multi-engiine instructor told me, "There are two kinds of multi-engine pilots. Those that have had an engine failure on takeoff and those that haven't."
To say it's realistic it's to say nothing. It's way beyond how real this look like. I travelled the same route once and I can tell this is scary close to the reality.
Woo you're using my cockpit texture mod :D Hope you like it and have the latest version I updated recently on discord ;) Very nice shots here and great video!!
@@waj-s2b Thanks for the correction I was probably thinking of Oklahoma to Hawaii which is the flight I had. Forgot to incorporate the shorter distance.
Crazy how they even have the LSG trucks right. We do use TLD equipment as well. The tugs and belt loaders we use are a little different though. At seat tac we use powerstow belt loaders and smaller TLD belt loaders.
Phenomen as always this gave me the chills! So realistic! Loved the terminal part. Hope everything is going well with your real-world aviation! Also I was just curious, would you want to fly big aircraft such as the 757, 767, A321, A330, etc…? Or even bigger (777, 787, A350, etc)? Or are you just planning for the 737, and a320/19/18?
W O W ! ! ! !😵 This is the MOST incredible flight sim video i have ever watched/seen. Wow Tom, this was like watching the real deal. The way you pan through the walk around the sounds in the cabin, the outside views are phenomenal!!!! The only thing i didn't like about your video is the stupid masks on people and the announcements from the flight crew to wear a mask at all time. I don't like to be reminded of 2020 dealing with the pandemic. But other than that A+++++ man.
I have a huge fear of flying, but ive been trying to overcome it somewhat recently because ill be flying in a few months, and this video is the only video that made me feel like i was actually on the aircraft, such a strange feeling, but also showing how realistic this video was, i can tell the hours you must have put into this so it was extremely enjoyable, i have such an interest in aircraft and the little details of planes, but god damn does it frighten the life out of me lol
Personally I love flying, and the high realism in this video gave me such thrills. But I'm happy that you are facing your fears and will or have already traveled again. If so, how did it go? Take care.
Excelent, hard and dificult work my friend . I Enjoyed every minute . This video should hav e a lot motr Vievs but people don't know how much work need this video to be made. Please tell me how did you captured this video in 4 k . Thank you in advance
Привет мне очень нравится твои видео. Продолжай в том же духе. Как ты я никогда не полечу. Но смотря твои видео душа радуется. Да чуть не забыл. Меня зовут Костя я из России
Love the airport sounds like other aircrafts/outside noise, added later or are you using a MOD? My ambient airport sounds outside the plane suck. Thanks.
Hello Tom! I was wondering if you use the 'Flytool' tool to get to your destination faster. Or do you just leave your computer on for hours until you descend?
SOMEONE PLEASE ANSWER THIS. How does he make his camera look the way it does? You know, like how it moves and stuff in the cockpit? Almost like a floaty head or something. WHAT MOD OR ADDON IS IT?!?
Very nice it is always nice to see you, Btw I also like doing flights like this and you have inspired me. I just wanted to know your drone camera settings so I can move through the aircraft like you do.
