"The Rainbow Bear" may be a weird name for a title but it does have some meaning. During the hunt, as hunters will tend to do, I second guessed myself on passing a nice bear on the second day.
I was also way more home sick than normal. I had left my wife, Deborah to run the business on her own and I had zero communication with her.
I was able to communicate with her on the morning of day 8, went back into the field during a significant rain storm but as time came for the evening hunt, the rain stopped, the sun came out for a brief time and created a rainbow right at our boat. You can hear in the video, I say, "It's a sign" and sure enough it was. I was able to take this gorgeous boar that evening.
