Good luck! We found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful. I can think of 3 or 4 employees that we had extended, delightful conversations with during our stay.
No unfortunately. The night we spent in Coldfoot was cloudy and even snowed that night. We were very unfortunate on that trip to have almost every night with cloudy overcast skies. That is not to say they weren't ever able to be seen, just never when we were awake and looking. I'm sure you could stay up all night and glimpse them from time to time. We are planning a trip to Churchill Manitoba Canada this fall to see the polar bears, hopefully we'll see the northern lights there.
