As with all of these reality shows, the flying, the planes, the people are fantastic. I don't know who writes the narrative because the narration is terrible. If they would just get rid of the narration and let the pilots and the people talk it would be great.
I agree. The music, the way it's edited, the narrators script. SO MUCH DRAMA!!!1! I think the camera crew filming the hunters was so happy to have them saying they needed help that they decided to show it 3 times in a minute 😂
Completely ignoring the fact that the camera crew must have a safe place to stay? Not to mention you can see a boat in the water while the plane is taking off from picking them up. I am guessing the camera crew was coming and going daily by boat. Love the content of these shows but the drama is unbearable.
Exactly. How many times did they keep saying the alternator quit working when in fact it was working and had to be shut off because it was over charging the batteries.
Fun times......brings back memories. Bob gave me my very first flying lesson, it only took a couple of lessons to realize a Cessna 150 bored him to death! He was very intense and intimidating to me being a fledgling, I decided to go to flight school instead. I enjoyed my years flying in Kodiak, Bob will always be one of the best!
My youngest son lived with his wife and kids in Kodiak for awhile. Only 100 miles of road total. Streets only 3 blocks deep before you hit the mountainside. Tsunami level recorded on sign. Shale and quartz for ground plane. Amazing.
@@alphakilo7005 And what did you expect flying up here???😳 longtime Alaskan saying, “ In Alaska, there is old pilots, and bold pilots, yet no old bold pilots”!Just saying, I have been lucky to fly with the best bush pilots on earth here in Alaska! Many are in books! You obviously didn’t have it for Alaska flying. Nothing new.😳
That shows why even in these days of GPS you still need to keep your map nav skills up. You never know when the magic electric bits are going to let you down. 76 years young and still nothing has been built to do the job better than the Beaver.
Even as a young pilot I’m happy to say I would know what to do in this situation and I think with the training out there most pilots also know what to do. Hopefully
These typical reality TV shows are all the same good idea but terribly executed I couldn't stop rolling my eyes whenever the narrator started talking. leave it raw and real is that too hard 🙄
stop with the lightning already . not a real thing here . seen it 3 times in 40 years . Island air is a great company with awesome people doing a incredible service to all of us on the Island . they don't need theatrics .
I was almost expecting Paul Sr. from American Chopper to come into a scene yelling and throwing a fit. Such drama. Reality TV for ya. Nice video though if it wasn't for the drama.
Shame this video is over-edited and information is repeated like we are dumb. Why not let the scene of the hunters and their rescue just play through in one sequence? Let the people talk, let them start and let them finish instead of endless cutaways. People who watch this sort of stuff do not have to be over-entertained and saturated with noise.
Aaron, So true! Been fortunate to fly with some of Alaska’s best bush pilots over the years! This show clearly could have found longtime AK bush carriers, not talking about new pilots up here!😳🤪🤣
Starts off everyday these Pilots Risk Everything ...does that mean they risk a life of their passengers???.. I'm just repeating what the man said in the first 30 seconds don't think I'll fly with them if they'll Risk Everything
Oh God.............sigh..............., what's next? Ok the adjective starts with an s and ends with a d and there is a t after the s, then u, then p, then i, and lastly a d at the end of the word and that spells s....d.
Man I can't stand the narrative talk in this. Death, dangerous, treacherous etc etc. Yes, its risky, we get that but move on. Not even sure I can watch it
"We're in a bad spot. We need... We need help." Jesus the quality of acting in these churned out discovery type shows really has gone downhill hasn't it?
