I started skydiving at 17, BASE at 20, paragliding about 12 years ago, and I’ve spent more money then I’d ever be able to work out, time, energy and sacrifice! I’ve lost a lot of friends and loved ones along the way, and seen them land undeployed right in front of me! This isn’t something you just do, it takes years of training, learning, listening, making mistakes that you’re lucky enough to learn from instead of having a memorial video made of you, it’s a lifestyle, not a hobby! What country are you in? And how old are you? I have flown all around the world, and know many extremely skilled and patient teachers who run and operate schools to help people like you start from the ground up and get you started! When you lean to the side it induces a turn, especially when you get into speedwings. In paragliding they call it "weight-shift", skydivers call it "harness input", but they're the same essential idea; if you don't stay centered and balanced in the harness you'll induce a turn and potentially even a dive.

You people have the dream job. One question, where do I learn how to speedride? They have skydiving and BASE schools, where does one learn speedriding?
you've got to learn how to paraglide first. gain a really good understanding of glider control and weather. and then you step down to a speed wing. so just google paragliding schools in your local area.
damn if you suck that bad to hit a tree on the ground, what do you doing flying... that was a death move in the air.... that guy sucks at this. this was 3 years ago. i'm sure he is dead by now with his lack of skills.
