Death is a literal force of nature. It's like asking which is stronger between a man or a tornado.

Death is the one that brought Alastor to Hell in the first place. He's an abstract concept of death itself given form and a fundamental force of creation. Alastor would soil his pants because considering how he feared for his life when he thought he was going to die from fighting Adam he would instantly bail knowing Death would take him out for good permanently.

For Alastor vs Adam I would doubt Alastor would win if Adam was being serious in a fight.

Great video, man! Even though i already know who's winning this, I'm glad you educated some people on some interesting meta's that existed between two characters. Appearntly, the Wishing Star has a higher end calc that can get to Multi-Contin level. Alastor does have a lot of hax and abilities (prequel comics), although most of them are not really combat use.

And Death is supposedly an abstract being and personification or Lycanification (Wolf personifying) of Death.

Okay real quick. Sorta Solo Thread either correcting or giving my own opinions or feats or arguments used in this video. No hate or anything. Just trying to correct things I personally believe wrong. The vox calc is inneficient and irrelevant. The only reasons he causes a black out is because his headquarters are connected to most if not all of the powerlines and tech in the ciry since he owns it all and produces it as well as being connected to it. When he bluescreens he glitches the shitty ass power central because 1 he is directly connected toall of it at the time through actual wires. (Which wether or not they amplify his power is meaningless since this is clearly a only within that room thing.) And basically he just sparked and fucked with the main power plant which causes a chain reaction of failures and turns off everything. If it was an actual EMP or something like that then it would've affected the hotel. Which it clearly doesn't because they have their own powergrid. Next up. No alastor does not scale to stolas in any way shape or form. Stolas is a Hellborn demon Prince who's powers are amplified by a grimmoire. He's demon royalty and a high end at that. He has feats that far outscale anything in the hazbin show (other than lucifer). And it would be disingenuous to give alastor feats comparable of merely a Non canon hyperboly from the pilot. "Hells greatest evils" while only showing overlords in the picture in a show where everyone is stuck in the pride ring where there's only sinners and a few imps. Is pretty clearly only reffering to the overlords. Even including the rest of hell most hellborn aren't all that evil. All of the sins but one have been genuinely just nice people. With the ars goetia being just assholes to shitty politicians at worst. I highly doubt any of them classify as greatest evils. Compared to the souls of some of the most heinous people to ever exist. These are entirely different characters with different abilities and origins and completely different magic who have never interacted. Saying they're relative is at best case scenario just a heavily missinformed or wrong statement to make. And the stolas splitting the sky was 1 clearly done through and only with the grimmoire. 2. Just magic hax from a specific spell meant to do that for the harvest moon festival and not any sort of attack potency.

Just a general nitpick was scailing Death's speed via Puss in the bar scene, Puss honestly didn't expect to be attacked in a bar nor took the claims of Death being the real deal. But that's just an honest oversight anyone can make. Just letting you know.

i think a good point to bring up is that stolas main thing is just future reading... like that's his job as an ars goetia. to read the stars and discern the future. he cant actually do anything to stop it or there would be no need to prepare for them

First of all, thanks for your work, interesting video. I also think Death is stronger than Alastor, just because of his speed. I still have one thought. I think death can also be seen here as an angel of death who was created from the beginning to harvest the souls of mortals. This would mean death would be on the same level as true angels Lucifer and Sarah. Would also explain why Death couldn't be defeated by Puss or the Wishing Star. Only angel weapons could really harm him and then his sickles would also be angel weapons that could kill Alastor.

About the stolas scene with the planets. He didn't control any of those celestial objects. He simply brought himself and his daughter there to witness the collapse of a solar system, as a background for his lullaby. There were implications that is the future of earths solar system, which grants limited time travel to the portal magic, but... If that was the case, the events of the LA episode make less sense as it would not be time sensitive.

Thank you for explaining why Stolas in you will be okay isn’t planet level. I knew for a while that it didn’t make sense since as you said there is no effect of his magic anywhere on those planets. We now especially since his telekinesis at least has some visible signs it’s there we know it couldn’t be that and how knowing the stars and planets is literally Stolas’s only job he would’ve just known that star was gonna collapse and just teleport there. Sorry for the long read I was just in so many arguments where they use this as reason for stolas to win a fight.

So you asked if there was anything missing about Alastor so here's one I think. Now for clarification i don't know alot about his powers or anything, but from the show We've seen him create a camera out of thin air, which means in theory he could create objects out of thin air. And we've seen him distort the world around him. Now I'm not sure if that last one isn't really a power of his, so that one I'm iffy on. Just thought I'd put that in. Great video!

I noticed you never mentioned how alastor can summon others and owns others he can use. We see in one of the episodes he creates shadow people to rebuild the hotel after sir pentious attacked. He also owns others souls as we see with husk, he might own others that he could also use to his advantage

you made fair points but i really like the fact you completely ignored the statement alastor is immortal unless angelic weapons are used. it was never stated weapons that can hurt the soul could kill sinners, only angelic based weapons can. And Alastor himself is shown to be able to hurt souls and even manipulate husk's and nifty's souls through deals. Hes a DEALMAKER. We can assume he owns over a 100k souls from carmilla's statement "together we own millions of souls", and Alastor being stated to be the most powerful sinner that has manifested in hell, it might even be up to 200k souls. So 1.Death has no counter to Alastor's sinner immortality 2.Soul weapons wouldnt work because one its not an angelic weapon, and two even if we down scaled alastor and made it so soul weapons from death (his sickle) could hurt him, Death would need to plough through 100k-200k souls. in terms of speed, you forgot to mention vox's speed(he can transform into lightning), which is basically lightning speed/speed of light or relevantly close to speed of light, and Alastor is debatably faster than vox. so its not just death speed blitzing alastor and its closer than you might think Also Alastor once again is debatably stronger than stolas. In the stream Vivzie states that 'she isnt sure and how their power works is different', and with stolas having planetary to SOLAR systerms, Alastor should either rank similar to solar system or higher (potentially as it has been debunked by various people that alastor scaled higher) So its Alastor - Planetary to solar system level attack potency Basically unkillable by Death Is equal to the speed of light or if not, incredibly close Death on the other hand as you stated - planetary to only star level attack potency 58% speed of light (apparently) and can be harmed by puss, who is a cat in the mortal realm

ofc its one sided ITS DEATH lol also one thing you could say for Alastor is that all sinners (and therefore overlords) immediately come back to (after)life when they are killed by anything except angelic weapons, however we do not know exactly what material death's sickles are, or if they would have an effect on a sinner, so we will assume its similar to Adam slashing Alastor after hitting his cane with that light attack, meaning just a few hits would kill Alastor no problem, mixing that with the obvious speed blitzes means Alastor sadly has no shot other than the possibility of him coming back... or Niffty with her new angelic dagger.

Tbh you power scalers need to look at tactics. Think Frisk/Chara/Player vs. Goku. They can’t die. *CAN’T DIE.* Eventually, they’d find a way to get around the power scaling. Not to mention that Alastor might trick Death into a deal.

Though, Alastor sold his soul. So he himself does not possess it. Which is probably why Overlords are not affected by tge Extermination. And also why Alastor wasn't killed by Adam. If he did have his soul, he would've died. So in order for Death to win a battle to the death, he would have to track down whoever owns Alastor's soul. And we don't know Alastor's full power yet. (And yes, i know this requires a lot of interpretation. But this man literally took a star dying literally (and yes, i know it's because the star had a conscious) and gave Alastor the benifot of the doubt anyway, so bite me.)

I know why you didn't said this for the video and all. Puss in boots showed that death cannot be beaten. Lobo is the Personification of death and don't forget the old moniker. Death comes for us all. so even if Alister gets scaled up he can't win. he can't defeat of the concept of death. (Hench the problem with gods as villains since they are just concepts that can not be killed)

love the theory, but it is still inconclusive until we see the true power of alister after he gets out of his deal. remember when he said that if he wasent restrsined he would rule hell, seemingly suggesting he is as strong as lucifer, who is the second or third most powerful being in his universe that we know of so far.

In addition to the last point, Charlie was genuinely worried Lucifer was going to kill Adam with no angelic weapons, and Lucifer put him so close to death that he went down to Nifty. Overwhelming force (like Death wields) would likely bypass demonic/angelic durability.

Stolas managed to: Posses a human Bring back dead humans as undead Make a ritual to bring him to earth All while in hell I do think he needs to be really powerful to do something like that, especially without his book

Social status in hell is everything. Since no one will do anything for someone who is weaker. That’s why they are a higher social status, because they are stronger.

Maybe Death vs Lucifer would be more fair? Though considering the one who actually had a relationship with Lilith in mythology was Samael, the Angel of Death, assuming Lucifer and Samael are the same in Hazbin Hotel, they would be pretty much the same thing as Death. Or maybe Death itself is a more powerful being than a mere Angel of Death. Thoughts?

If i can add something, alastor seems to have a link to a power from another, potentially corruptive realm/reality, also this the shadowed being that often shows up behind him. Also, you have to remind yourself that Paimon, Stolas' father, gave Stolas the grimmore to help him learn his powers. Another thing is that Paimon creates the grimmore that he gives to Stolas out of his own knowledge and powers. This would indicate that if Alastor can beat Stolas AND Paimon, he could be potentially stronger. If you go back to when Angel Dust asks if Alastor can MAKE demons do anything, and him saying he can, that would be another indicator. By the way, I'm not on either side, I'm sure both characters have their abilities, but maybe you should take a look at all the details before coming to a conclusion. One last thing, notice how Alastor is clearly hurt by the cut Adam did to his chest, and yet, he can still use his powers and he obviously never really needed his cane to do anything except make his voice sound like a radio. He also, throughout the entire series, can clearly distort reality, as seen when he uses his powers to taunt others.

i know we havent seen much about it but allastor didnt kill overlords he trapped them in his broadcast (mimzy never said they died or allastor killed them) that might give alastor a chance but we'll have to wait for season 2 (assuming we will see more about this in season 2) to count this

It was said in a livestream with the creator and voice actors that Alastor is certainly weaker than Stolas- below him in power and political status. Stolas is not an ancient fallen angel like his namesake either- he's just a guy in his 30s (flashback to childhood with Blitz). Hellaverse can be very inconsistent and difficult to look at like this.

I completely agree, while you forget to mention that Alastor has low reality warping being able to erase Huskers pool table and pool stick from existence in order to get his attention and created an alcoholic bottle out of thin air in order to manipulate Husker into becoming the bar tender at the Hazbin Hotel. This is still a speedblitz on Deaths behalf.

i imagine the same outcome as when alastor fought adam. i forget what it was called. but apparantly the disneyverse thing has another magical star that can talk thats apparantly can be used to scale death due to it being similar to the wishing star that death casually resisted,, edit: (18:32 there it is) side note. i find demon royalty like ars goetia interesting. we dont really see their full power. but we do find out that they can only be harmed by angelic weapons just like the angels. which makes sense. the ars goetia in the stuff that vivzie bases her show off of. are fallen angels.
