Albanian Royal Anthem - Himni Mbreteror

This is incredible, I never expected this channel to get anywhere near this, and I want to thank every single one of you, because you mean the world to me. To celebrate, I’ve decided to finally, after nearly a year, publish one of the songs I originally made this channel in order to share with the world: the Royal Anthem of the Albanian Kingdom of King Zog. This is the first ever full recording of the anthem which exists on the internet, which I have painstakingly reconstructed after trawling through footage from the Luce Institute. It is an original recording from the 1930s, during the actual reign of King Zog. This version unfortunately does not have lyrics, though I am trying to organise a modern recording of the anthem, which will include the lyrics, so stay tuned on my channel for that to hopefully eventually arrive! Fun fact: King Zog is the only modern monarch who has shot back at his assassin's, when they tried to kill him. He is also the greatest smoker in history, smoking dozens of cigarettes a day and having an extra alarm to wake him up during the night, so he can smoke.
