Il re di maggio ,si sta rivoltando nella tomba ,nel vedere come è ridotta la sua amata patria,un eroe aveva detto abbiamo fatto l' Italia ,adesso dobbiamo fare gli italiani.
Real lyrics: Fanfare: Long live the King! Long live the King! Love the King! Lower, o regiments, the banners to our King, The glory and the fortune of Italy lies with him! The brave regiments of Savoy cry out: "Long live the King! The glory and the fortune of Italy lie with him!" March: Long live the King! Long live the King! Long live the King! The trumpets joyously sound, Long live the King! Long live the King! Long live the King! With this, the cries echo, The drums roll and the trumpets sound again! Canticles of glory we fervently raise, Long live Italy! Italy, huzzah! Long live the King! Long live Italy! Long live the King! Long live Italy! Long live the King! Long live the King! All of Italy puts faith in you, believes in you, All of Italy puts faith in you, believes in you, Glory to our race, sign of freedom, Of freedom, of freedom, of freedom! All of Italy puts faith in you, believes in you, All of Italy puts faith in you, believes in you, Glory to our race, sign of freedom, Of freedom, of freedom, of freedom! When the enemy comes seeking our flourishing fields, Where the heroes fought in bygone ages, When the enemy comes seeking our flourishing fields, Where the heroes fought in bygone ages, As long as our fervent patriotic love lasts, As long as our civilization reigns, The Italian Alps will be free, angelic speech will reign, The hated barbarian will never set foot here. As long as our fervent patriotic love lasts, As long as our civilization reigns, As a single phalanx, the sons of the fatherland, Will cover themselves in glory, shouting: "Freedom!" Long live the King! All of Italy puts faith in you, believes in you, All of Italy puts faith in you, believes in you, Glory to our race, sign of freedom, Of freedom, of freedom, of freedom!
The lyrics in this video are not the lyrics of the Marcia Reale d'Ordinanza. These are the lyrics of Marcia Reale Italiana, which was never used as the National Anthem of the Kingdom of Italy. The real lyrics of Marcia Reale d'Ordinanza by Giuseppe Gabetti are different from the ones here. It is one of the hardest anthems to sing, which is why most renditions of this anthem are instrumental. The Fanfera Reale is not even sung here, whereas in many other versions, it is, so this is not the real Marcia Reale. And its use in Sardinia was seen only when Victor Emmanuel III retired there after his abdication in 1945. This version is possibly from that time, but this is the Marcia Reale Italiana, not the Marcia Reale d'Ordinanza.
Fanfera Reale: Long live the King! Long live the King! Love the King! Lower, o regiments, the banners to our King, The glory and the fortune of Italy lies with him! The brave regiments of Savoy cry out: "Long live the King!" Lower, o regiments, the banners to our King! Long live the King! Long live the King! Long live the King! The trumpets joyously sound, Long live the King! Long live the King! Long live the King! With this, the cries echo, Canticles of glory we raise as the trumpet sounds again, We raise voices full of our glee! The glory and strength of Italy resounds, With fervent love towards our King, our King, our King!
Viva l'Impero italiano. Viva l'Onnipotente re Umberto. E’ un peccato che l’Italia sia una repubblica. Come turco, ciò che desidero di più è la restaurazione della monarchia.
@antoniofioretti706 Lo so. Tuttavia, è necessario indire un referendum per la monarchia in tutto il Paese. Credo che il pubblico prenderà la decisione giusta.
Mussolini was commissioned by King Victor Emmanuel III to form a new government after leading the March on Rome. The government obtained confidence in the Chamber of Deputies on November 17, 1922, with 306 votes(Italian liberal party(Giolitti), Italian people's party(De Gasperi, Gronchi) , Italian socialdemocratic party(Colonna), Italian nationalist association (Federzoni)and Italian fascist party (Mussolini) in favor, 116 against(socialist party, repubblican party, radical party, some liberals) and 7 abstentions. On 29 November he obtained the confidence in the Senate of the Kingdom with 196 votes in favor and 19 against. It wasn't unconstitutional, the Italian parlament unfortunately wanted Mussolini as prime minister
