Eind mei begin juni 2023, hebben we een reis door Albanie gemaakt. Het ging ons vooral om het binnenland. De wegen zijn er slecht en er zijn ook heel veel onverharde wegen we konden daar met onze Toyota Hilux prachtige paden berijden. We hadden iedere middag een zwaar onweer en daardoor ook redelijk veel modder.
We zien ouderwetse boortorens en ja-knikkers er wordt nog steeds olie uit de grond gehaald, het stonk ook behoorlijk.
De ferry over Lake Koman was een indruk wekkend avontuur, vooral de chaos an het eind toen we van de ferry af moesten. De kade en tunnel waren geblokkeerd met wachtende voertuigen, die waren ook eerst niet van plan om ruimte te maken. Met zeer directief optreden van mij heb ik de route door de tunnel vrij gecommandeerd.
De onverharde route naar Thet, was uitdagen en mooi. Terug asfalt niet speciaal.
At the end of May, beginning of June 2023, we made a trip through Albania. We were mainly concerned with the interior. The roads are bad and there are also many unpaved roads, we were able to drive on beautiful paths there with our Toyota Hilux. We had a heavy thunderstorm every afternoon and therefore quite a lot of mud.
We see old-fashioned derricks and yes-men, oil is still being extracted from the ground, it also smelled quite bad.
The ferry across Lake Koman was an impressive adventure, especially the chaos at the end when we had to get off the ferry. The quay and tunnel were blocked with waiting vehicles, which at first had not planned to make room. With a very directive action on my part, I cleared the route through the tunnel.
The unpaved route to Thet was challenging and beautiful. Back asphalt not special.
