I would like the 100% completed kit please. Seriously, I don't know if I would ever want to build a all wooden model but its interesting to watch someone who has the talent, patience and experience to complete such a complex model. Well done. Unbelievable.
Beautifully built model, congratulations! and thank you for the tips when building the fuselage. I bought this model a couple of years ago and I think is time to start building it. I have some ideas to enhance the final look of the model by replacing the wheels and covering partially part of the wings and tail surfaces. Thanks again for the video.
I’ve built two of these they’re fun build you just have to take your time Construction so great but if you build Balsawood models before he will figure it out and it will be a breeze good quality model
Sorry I don't remember I just used whatever I had on hand without putting to much thought to it :) Most likely tamiya maroon and same brand clear coat...
If you are willing to go this far, I'd recommend going with flying rc replica of this model :) evenn without electronics it would look good and parts are better adapted for covering:)
@@StaticModel i was thinking of using this model since the fuselage is covered with plywood just like the real plane. Which would help with texture for paints. Idk maybe i could just find a flying rc model and cover fuselage with wood Edit: sadly guillows albatros kit is rare since its from the 1950s and most cost 125 bucks.
@@JacKnife3705 if you just want realistic model, there is plenty of options with realistic wood decals for 1:48 albatross, or you just can learn how to paint wood imitation... Cause DW hobby model wood grain is out of scale if you are going for realism.
@@StaticModel i used to do guillows models but their albatros is too expensive. Mainly looking for that type of model. But i dont want it to be entirely unrealistic. Only thing is i cant find any other model like the guillows albatros.
