Remember when late night talk shows were adventurous, funny and worth watching? Johnny, 80's Letterman, Conan (especially when Norm Macdonald was a guest). Those days have long since past, leaving behind a series of cardboard cutouts more interested in virtue signaling and political posturing than advancing the great tradition of innovative conversation and no holds barred jokes/sketches.
I always looked forward to watching Johnny. I have some great memories of settling down in our recliner to enjoy 90 minutes of Johnny and guests. There’ll never be anyone like him again.
Albert been around a long damn time now. He was always one of those dudes everyone would recognize but not know his name level of fame but he's finally getting to be recognized by the 80's & 90's kids.
I used to sneak out of bed to watch Johnny Carson in the early 70's. I was only about 12 or 13 years old but I loved him. I watched him when I could til the end.
