Original footage ... thanks to the efforts of the whole community *) it was finally possible to "decipher" what Einstein is saying:
"Now I will add a few words unprepared. [laughter] A country becomes really a soul only in consciously serving the intellectual life, and in the case of our Jewish people it was really this endeavour, which conserved the Jewish people as a whole. We would not be in existence today, as a community of people, without this continued, or discontinued ... ehh ... activity into learning and in thought and in literature."
The occasion of this speech is still unknown, though.
*) Thanks to rubyslippez, ElmaFudd2 and especially RuniToconillo.

@99thmonkee Einstein's relations collapse back to Newtonian mechanics when objects are moving at non-relativistic speeds. Newton was right but did not incorporate the issues with objects moving at near the speed of light. Einstein corrected this issue. If you are dealing with motion of cars, baseballs or other macroscopic objects--Newton's relations are good enough. But if you deal with very large gravitiational fields or subatomic particles that move with relativistic speeds, Einstein rules.

This is an invitation to see an objective view of QM. Based on just two postulates: 1 The quantum wave particle function Ψ or probability function represents the forward passage of time itself with the future coming into existence photon by photon. 2 Is that quantum uncertainty ∆×∆p×≥h/4π that is formed by the w-function is the same uncertainty we have with any future event within our own ref-frame that we can interact with turning the possible into the actual!

Nice old video! This is an invitation to see an artist theory on the physics of light and time! This theory is based on two postulates 1. Is that the quantum wave particle function Ψ represents the forward passage of time ∆E ∆t ≥ h/2π itself 2. Is that Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle ∆×∆p×≥h/4π that is formed by the w- function is the same uncertainty we have with any future event that we can interact with turning the possible into the actual!

Neat video! I am an artist on RU-vid trying to promote my theory on the dynamics of light and time This theory is based on just two simple postulates 1. The first is that the quantum wave particle function represents the forward passage of time itself 2. The second is that Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle that is formed by the wave function is the same uncertainty we have with any future event Einstein’s dream an objective quantum mechanics!

@ArinOngunTV Albert always had the highest possible grade in math. He invented new tensors (namely the Einstein tensor) through tensor arithmetic which is an advanced form for multivariable calculus and linear algebra. He also found the field equations which describe how the universe works, beating the world's leading mathematician David Hilbert. Einstein was an amazing mathematician.

@T0y0Tac0roll4 the peer-review process as well as the way science deals with ideas in general makes it impossible to "steal ideas". the only thing that could be equivalent to "stealing ideas" is when you use the work of others but dont cite their work, but einstein never did that, and in peer review they actually check that, also all of poincares and lorentz publications are available. so either you are wrong, and its just a lie, or you can PROVE IT.
@kurtilein3
@kurtilein3 14 лет назад
@T0y0Tac0roll4 you are wrong. but you are just a troll that wants to cause people to respond to your nonsensical comments, i dont think you actually want to make a point here, you just want to troll. the others you mentioned didnt come up with any theory as significant as general relativity. newton came up with newtons mechanics, einstein came up with general relativity, and quantum mechanics was a collaborative effort in which einstein was deeply involved.
@kurtilein3
@kurtilein3 14 лет назад
@JustinK101 einstein is the best of his time, newton is the best of his time. many say newton got science started, which might well be correct while i tend to believe many people were involved and its more like a lineage of great minds. but without einstein, there would be no internet, and we wouldnt understand the structure of the unverse.
@SpencerMoleda
@SpencerMoleda 14 лет назад
... Why is there a "Newton vs Einstein" debate here? Both scientists made very important contributions to the field of physics. You could easily say that Both Einstein and Newton made refinements to concepts that already existed. They were very important refinements, important enough to regard both Einstein and Newton as geniuses for their contributions.

lol, how can you say they are not sciences? Geology is an Earth SCIENCE and Computer SCIENCE. Actually, Leibniz is now rightly credited with developing calculus. Also, Einstein's theories have stood up to almost 100 years of scientific scrutiny. There are obviously places where these laws won't apply but we'll develop theories as we gain knowledge and hopefully even create laws too.

Actually he did not directly had anything to do with atomic weapons - he was a pacifist and one of very few prominent Germans to publicly speak against the war. Others used his discoveries to create nuclear weapons and he has always and clearly expressed his opposition and dissatisfaction with such use. He was one of the great minds in human history and I suggest you educate yourself before you make ignorant comments in public forums.
@101dwdude
@101dwdude 12 лет назад
You're forgetting the numerous other discoveries he made about the world, not just nuclear bombs. Anyway, he said that the creation of the atom bomb was his greatest regret. Also, someone would have figured out how to use it eventually. Maybe even Nazi Germany... That's the major reason why he helped work on it. Was so that we could be prepared and know about how something like that worked before Nazi Germany, or anyone else knew about it.

numbers are already infinit because we can count them and they already exist in unlimited and infinite state while the universe is not infinit because it if expanding twards the infinit and that"s a great difference.WHEN it comes to space all is delimited because space is infinite and seeing that space is infinit and our universe is not because there is an infinit amount of space and our universe did not cover up even 1% of it because you cannot cover something that is infinit

now the question of question is how do we deal with time what is time? cerns thank you..gravity is equal to time.this is a highly complecated but we can still talk about it.simply because the numbers are still there and does not contradicts the law of our equation which is gravity. gravity is perfect with time they zero in.look at the volume and what atoms are there. tomatoes they planted a tomatoes in diff gravitational level and DNA of tomatoe is diff control gravity and plant well grow faster

wat about 6 times 6 ...having a hard time...alright .do you realize that the speed of light in space is diff from the speed of light here on earth? the law of einstien says nothing surpasses the speed of light.. alright.. do you know compass? it will be worthless in the future why. gravity change and they will aggree its true now.. is that what happened why cerns neutrinus is faster than light ? of course! but again you do not. again you do not talk about it while using the same equation.

I agree, we know about the universe but i don't think humans have the capacity to understand every little detailed part of the universe.Its part of being human to why we are so curious.Humans always want to know the questions to their answers.It is impossible for us to ever understand that.Once we find what caused the singularity, someone will wanna know what caused that its really just impossible.We should focus on our bodies.I think we hold the answers to all.After all we are part of thecosmos

@inswoon Childish thinking. You've been reading too much sloppy science fiction. And been taking it way too seriously. And no he wasn't the first to formulate this theory. Read about minkowski and lorentz. And why don't you read about some of the things Maxwell himself said on the subject. Do research for four years on the history of science, then come back here and reply. If you are unwilling to do this research, do not reply.

@laifalbert Actually they tried it twice and there's empirical evidence to contradict the results. The neutrinos did not emit the cherenkov's radiation ie they did not decay. Had they broken the speed limit,would they have decayed, so the results could've been inaccurate. Or maybe we can assume that the results are accurate & that the neutrinos took a shortcut through another dimension OR the speed of light is greater than what it is thought to be. So in both cases, the law's not broken.
@sharpnova2
@sharpnova2 13 лет назад
@hceely well i've been checking up on their followup every few days or so. they haven't pinpointed where the observation error occurred (assuming it was an observation error, which is a pretty good assumption) it could take quite some time to figure out the problem due to the complexity in between departure and arrival. I truly think in the end it will be general relativistic in nature. but i don't have access to all their data or any of their equipment.
@sharpnova2
@sharpnova2 13 лет назад
@hceely All that's been confirmed is that their current measurement methods are consistently giving FTL values. The chance of error in their method is infinitesimally low. Basically the confidence level is like 6 sigmas at this point. But due to basic causality, that simply means some underlying aspect of their measurement method has to be wrong. Peer review is ongoing. On the 18th they discounted one possible source of error (incorrect starting time measurements) but there are others yet

Where does E= Mc^2 come from? In 1905 Einstein asked: Does the inertia of a body depend upon its energy content? The answer was: Yes, it depends on its energy E= Mc^2 So, Einstein said - E= Mc^2 comes from inertia 2 In 1928 Dirac said - E= Mc^2 comes from vacuum and can be as positive as negative too 3 Sometimes E= Mc^2 can be ‘rest’ particle and sometimes can be ‘active’ and can destroy cities like Hiroshima and Nagasaki Why E= Mc^2 is so strange ? Nobody gives answer

With all due respect to Albert Einstein, I would say John Von Newmann was the greatest mind of our time. The story goes that Von Newmann, Richard Feynman and J Robert Oppenheimer were given a particular scientific problem that had not been solved, they all solved it in aproximately the same time, Feynman used a calculator, Oppenheimer, a slide rule and Von Newmann did it in his mind..

This is a surprisingly old error which everyone seems to believe. Its origins seem to be a 1935 article in the Ripley’s Believe it or not magazine in which the myth first appears in print under the heading “Greatest living mathematician failed in mathematics.” When he was shown the article from the magazine, Einstein laughed and said: “I never failed in mathematics. Before I was fifteen I had mastered differential and integral calculus."

We would not be 'here' and 'now' if 'joy' of pleasure wouldn't be our love, we would not have a variety of cultures translating 'love' as signal to each other, if we didn't expect it in return, be it in order to survive or in order for the other to survive. The ones whose spirits are poor because of a lack of 'assets' of education should be fed and dressed, only a lack of resources urges us to do so.

He was for peace and was saddened to see how his discovery that matter and energy are equivalent be used to make bombs. It's not the discoverer of how nature works that is bad, it's how the discovery is used that may, or may not, be bad. You need to learn much more about the way things work in this world.

@Kruizlinx coz his theories would be like chineese to you :p in my country (greece) einstein's theory is included in our school book-PHYSICS- (6th grade of high school--like college) but as our teachers say: "You cant even understand Gravity. Imagine what would happen if einsteins theory was included in the exams.." thats why ..in order to completely understand him, u must have a wide range of knowledge around physics..
