FINALLY someone addressing the "Ebonics" racist bullshit! I started playing this game for the very first time last week (because I really didn't have access to a Sega Saturn back in the day) and finished it yesterday. I just couldn't believe my eyes when I read that "Ebonics" dialogue; it pissed me off so much, I had to stop playing the game for a couple of hours and then pick it up again later. All in all, the game is a very, *VERY* run-of-the-mill JRPG from the '90s. I think if it weren't for the atrocious localization by Working Designs and the scarcity of copies common to Saturn games, it'd have faded into oblivion many years ago.

nothing much to say other then I watched it. But yeah I have looked into the load times. The OG japanese version took noticeably longer to load in battles. And the game always looked kinda dull. The localization probably made it better tbh.

I got this game for free in the early 2000s. A few years ago when trying to find a game to play, I started it up and kind of lost interest the moment I heard the voice acting. I still played for 30 minutes or so before moving on to something else. Still want to play and finish one of these days but really need to be in the right mindset to start and finish.
