Alberta wildfires: Officials provide update - August 4, 2024 

Todd Loewen, Alberta’s minister of forestry and parks, provides an update on the ongoing wildfire situation in the province. At the time of this briefing, there are 120 wildfires burning across Alberta.
The minister is joined by Christie Tucker, information unit manager with Alberta Wildfire, and Joe Zatylny, deputy managing director with the Alberta Emergency Management Agency.
