several authorial films such as le mepris (godard) the conformist (bertolucci) la ciociara (de sica) la noia (damiani) are the cinematic transposition of Moravia novels.

Hah this was great. Been curious about this one for ages. The only book on boredom I’ve loved so far is The Pale King

Esp. love how unfiltered and unedited the video is in its middle part

Having read Camus’ “The Stranger,” and Sartre’s “Nausea,” I would say Moravia is a perfect compliment to these pieces of Existential-literature! Have you read Sartre’s “No Exit?” Your reaction to this play would be fascinating to know.

One of my favorite books of 2021 year. Apropos, this thumbnail (preview?) seems funny to me but I don't know why :)

And this guy is way more empty than he understands that's why he's so obsessed about her, I believe it's like he's looking for a purpose to find some meaning.

I clearly get why reading Boredom was fuss tra... fruss tra... phirrustat....frustrating to you Amo. Once again, couldn't get any better. Loved the review! Moravia sounds slow-paced. Go for the fast italian next - Umberto Eco :)

Hahaha thanks Shivin 😕💛💛 Oh yeah I am gonna read Eco this year, and soon. I have his The Name of the Rose and Foucault’s Pendulum. Which one should I read first though?

@@ReadADayClub I'd suggest The Name of the Rose. Waiting for your review on that :)
