I've been judging for and competing for over 30 years I consider symmetry left to right balance of the body and proportion but Aesthetics is the beauty of the physique and how it flows together, insertions and muscle shape. Many bodybuilders have good symmetry but lousy Aesthetics maybe Lane has decent symmetry but he doesn't have good pleasing aesthetics and proportion. How pleasing is the body to look at kind of someone's beauty or facial features some people just have IT.
