The only thing that affects price of gold is SBI's greed. If they think they earn less than they should, price of gold will rise. But if they overdo it, game will pretty much become pay to play and they will lose lot of players mostly from less rich countries. They should mainly focus on botting and RMT as that is lowering their income the most IMHO.
SBI greed? Might be. In my opinion the reason why gold price is increase because of there are players having many alts acc for focus, and some of them are buying gold which is lowering the gold counts and the lower the gold count the price of it rises so the premium cost in silver will increase. Though alts hoarders buy premium for each acc they will still profit more times because of amount of focus per acc. If casual and new players will hardly pay for premium via ingame curreny (silvers) no gold will return to gold reserves which keep the price of gold high along with premium cost. Coz after all the game runs by players and SBI are just there to support the game. They can't stop this if they didn't do about alts hoarders along with bot users the game will complete gone to chaos which is kinda not healthy for the community. But additional option is add more silver sinks so that gold hoarders forced to bring back all the golds at reserves
well a bit late to the video but there is a whole model of selling cheap skins like LOL dosnt hurt gameplay and helps the game/company... ive been playing for a month and the problems seem prety simple... anyways i hope to see more videos i liked your roads transports.👌👍
6:00 Can confirm, I was one of those dedicated econ players. I had over 120 crafting/refining alts all with premium, I did black marketing flipping, royal transports. ETC. Gold prices going up made it less worthwhile to renew the alt premiums so I cut down to 10.
@@GratissTVofficial It’s hard to find an exact number. I have guild island chests setup in each city, tons of chests inside houses. I’m still trying to sell all the mats I accumulated since I cut down to 10. I also always reinvested back into the alts, I stopped making more. My aim was for each alt to specialise in multiple things in case the market crashed for one thing. Per each alt I took an initial loss of anywhere from 60-200m to get them to higher tier where they can already cover premium costs + profit. I’ve probably invested over 20b on the alts, always had 6b at minimum in materials and kept 2b in silver for transmuting/other fee’s. TLDR: Most of my silver was invested in speccing up the alts quickly, and in multiple things, I spent around 20b. I only had 6b in mats, and 2b on hand for fee’s. I renewed premium as silver came in.
For other investment ideas I think they should rework player housing to have a sustainable silver sink loop. Maybe people can buy plots and land in actual neighborhoods similar to FF14 and the game can have auction periods and other renovation features etc for silver sinks. I think Player Islands and housing are desperately in need of an overhaul right now. At least from my layman perspective.

I think the play to focus is outstanding idea. It would directly benefit me tremendously. I just don't think there is snowball chance in hell they increase viability of FTP.
@@foodhoarder9434 ye i dont think they will make f2p easier since right now the game needs more gold swipers to increase gold output and sbi got to make sure that gold is not just getting stocked up forever.
@@goldenium Completely anecdotal, but I've been working as contractor for a small and growing company making medical plastic products for customers like Siemens and Glaxo. They just built a new multi million dollar clean room facility over the fall/winter. Last week the bank told them they reached their allowable capital for the year. In June. Getting kinda cray cray everywhere. Thx again for your perspective.
The real problem is how can SBI earn money while not breaking the game. The game will be perfectly alive without premium and gold but SBI doesn't earn money.
TBH I think they should have a no free to play server. You must pay money to sub if no sub then you cant play. The problem with this is, no one is going to play that server. They made the gold market so free to play players can get premium with out having to spend their own money but someone else's on a sub. Id love a classic albion server with forced sub, id play that for sure. I like the old game more but a lot of players wont because it was more or less you had to be in a zerg alliance to get black zone or you will get bullied out fast. The old game where guild terries pay really well and they all have the t8 that spawn inside them. that you have to gvg for and you need to zerg up 2 times a day to hold war camps. The old castles that only popped 2 times a day again you need to zerg for to get. I liked the old game much more but it was not good for casual players that did not want to join a mega alliance or hardcore guild.
8:04 but those alts are getting premium with real money, they are getting it from end-game reffining that got it just by selling their refined resources therefore getting just silver from the game
Premium was 8 mil when i quit on 2021. The way they nerf Solo dungeon knowing there's only small player base doing PVP is kinda wild. Especially when the dg chest item supplied by BM They cant get rid of those gather bots and tons of player printed silver from HCE. These Input of silver messing up Albion economy since there's only a small amount of output happening
But honestly I think if you can just uphold your premium status by refining every 3 days for like what 30minutes to 1 hour of management. So what like 5 to 10 hours a month to get triple the premium value? I mean just based on that the gold price should triple. Alone on that fact.
The problem with gold is the restrictions on the gold market. If everyone who has silver can freely buy and sell gold, the price of gold will balance itself. I have 3 premiums in gold and I can't sell my gold and help lower the price, I'm limited to selling 50 coins per day. It's ridiculous.
i mean it adds up to the overall problem where theres more silver going into the game than going out. i mean its fine if albion wants to keep it this way but that will cause gold to always go up and people will just keep stockpiling gold instead of silver.
Not enough silver sink. They should've added some "expensive" content into the game to burn the silver since alot of player supplying tons of silver without the game burning it. So HCE could be a big problem since they're basically printing silver there without any silver circulation happening (maybe a small circulation with repair cost)
Hope you see this, You mentioned that black market is giving like 60bil every day by taking tonn of loot and we are not getting that much of loot from chests anyway, so where the loot going, i want to understand the bm loot distribution..
you have 60bil of loot going in chests everyday. obviously most of it will go in blackzone content to reward the risk. right now tho, some of it is used to stock a "buffer" seen by the recent patch notes
why nerf alts with daily quests? many solos don't want to go to stupid guild HO crafting for meta moneymaking. i play this game specifically so i don't have to play in groups for end game items. it's sick that you and mogdone think it's ok for you to screw people who put billions of silver their alts so they don't have to grind 200 hrs in the BZ for a 8.4 MP set.
"Less premiums" IS the solution though. I think you're underestimating the impact people with multiple premiums have on the economy. Have you seen a guy called "doublebacksomething"? He singlehandedly might have popularized toxic gameplay that drains gold out of the economy lately, lol. Refiners/crafters with premium are the problem. Whether any activity might be considered "unfair" by players (oh, HCE/soloing group content/mists/whatever else you personally hate is UNFAIR and should be nerfed), the only thing that really affects the market would be people with hundreds of alts since they drain not 3750 but 375k gold out of the economy per month. The swipers just can't sustain all those passive premium hoarders. Mogdone came up with a great idea where focus would be same as adventurer's challenge and you'd have to actively play to get those 10k points per day. That way people with hundreds of alts wouldn't physically have the time to earn all of that and wouldn't be limited just by their time of "focused" toons, rather by how much time they can play toons to make them "focused".
did you watch the video? i did say alts are a problem. but alts arent THE problem. there are other things. alts have been around for years and you only hear about it now. its a combination which i explain in this video. and i dont hate on other content. the only people who has ever done that is pvp/pve players with econ. and your statement of only thing that affects market is alts is so incorrect from a standpoint that you are blinding yourself to everything around you or dont have the game knowledge yet to see it. only toxic gameplay apears to be your comment. its not about draining gold. its about keeping the offer and demand close. economics 101. keep on blamming it on crafters :) im not gonna type out the entire video cause you probably only watched the first 2 mins of it Cancel Reply
Refiner/Crafter is not that big of a problem. They still bought the material and other player bought Items from them, so there's some money circulation happen there. Same goes with PVP and Dungeon, where player get item from another player. But gathering bots and HCE is really printing silver from nothing and this source of silver is the root problem. And it all ended over "Supply and Demand" where there's too much supply of silver but the game itself didn't take the silver back. Making people with billions of silver bought Gold and since gold had a high demand the price rise up along with premium prices
@@goldeniumI think the ton of Bots running around is much more of a problem than the Alts as you need a high level economy to make the alt crafting worthwhile .
@@dollarpw7149onestly as a crafter I can understand that black market crafting might contribute A LOT to the problem. Black market crafting alts consume focus (gold) and print silver
@@goldenium dont understand why you say banning alts would make sbi make less money. Most crafting alts buy back the monthly premium with silver. In fact they are the few that can consistenly do it with silver since they pretty much triple or quadruple the initial premium investment at the end of the month
The devs are ruining the game because of greed. Id pay $5 a month/$60 a year membership and id have multiple accounts with premium. But its not wirth $15 im sorry its just not
