Any tips on pruning?

Hey Karen, you don't really need to prune it. Pruning is usually to stimulate growth of the stems. With this plant, you have just leaves and you do not need to cut them till they get yellow/brown and the plant goes dormant☘️

While it’s dormant do I not water it at all? Do I still give it sun? More details please if you can

Hey Madanila, when they are dormant, I keep them wrapped in a newspaper in a cooler place and I don't water. It stays dry and wrapped just like it is without soil, just the bulb itself. I check it once a month and as soon as I see that it starts to sprout, I plant it.

I just got one of these cuties from Etsy. It is rooted and potted. The leaves, though, are all dark brown on the curly part of the leaves. I thought possibly it was because of the shipping and the stress plus going without water and sun for a few days. I watered it and placed it in a window with partial sun. The leaves thankfully are not drooping as much, but the curly parts are still dark brown (not dry though). Do you think I should cut off the brown parts?

Hey Angela, the leaves naturally turn brown, when the plant gets ready to bloom. Do you see any buds? If the brown tips are not dry, maybe it's overwatered? But in this case, the leaves will be also droopy

@@AnnasViolets That's so odd because it arrived with the soil completely dry, but the leaves definitely were droopy. After watering it and giving it some indirect sunshine, most of the leaves started straightening up. I don't see signs of flowering... at least not yet. 🤔
