The sound engineer's job is so diverse that it's crazy. Like, he's not just there to hit record. Or even just to make sure everything works the way it should. He's so a part of the creative process that when Rob is not happy with the song, he's there to help and reassure and keep driving the session forward. So shout out to the sound engineer, as always.

It's amazing watching Rob Ruccia's confidence in these two madmen, compared to his reaction to these guys back in 2018 on the first album. He's still got some of that "holy crap, we're doing what?" energy, but seems much more like he's enjoying bringing it all together.

i’d say here’s how it went down. First album. We are doing what? OK… Second album, oh we’re doing this again? Cool. Third album. Hell yeah! you can tell that’s exactly how it went. The first album he gave off the energy of what the hell are we doing? Second album he was starting to get used to it and kind of enjoying himself, but still in the middle. Third album he was like yes! This is awesome, and fun, and I love it! I mean, he did have moments of enjoying himself on the second album, but he was still in the middle. It wasn’t until album 3 where he finally was like OK, I’m enjoying this.
